Negative: Booked with garden view but looked onto car park. Staff wouldn’t move us as was advised they changed our room to accommodate somebody else due to wedding booking. Just make sure what room you book. They wouldn’t offer any partial refund as we booked in booking.com they said?

Positive: Large and comfortable room, even though slightly dark due to just one window. The bed was also very comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a great (and discreet) job, cleaning the room impeccably while we were having breakfast. The breakfast team staff was very accommodating.

Negative: The Napier (in-house restaurant) restaurant was really disappointing. We had dinner twice at the bar in the entrance hall of the hotel (serviced by the restaurant), and the staff seemed overcharged and not knowledgeable about the menu. The pillows are very firm and uncomfy, and this establishment being a high-priced hotel doesn't offer other pillow options.

Positive: The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and had 2 evening meals which were also Excellent. The room was very large and spotlessly clean. It was in a lovely surroundings outside Oxford but a bus ran from outside the hotel into the centre of Oxford. All in all a lovely stay. No complaints whatsoever.
