Positive: As advertised, amazing views! Morning coffee while watching the clouds roll in in over Morro Bay and the valley was a highlight. My daughter loved the extremely well behaved golden retrievers, Bourbon and Cider, that greet you upon arrival! And Ryan, the host, is very welcoming and responsive to any needs or questions.
Negative: Only unexpected thing was the presence of another rental unit (Irish Hills House) adjacent/attached or at least very close to the Vista House. It's not a stand alone unit. Didn't feel like that was made clear. And there was a larger group over there. Not an issue if you are aware of this in advance.

Positive: We enjoyed our stay at Vista House. Just as promised, the unit is luxurious and spotlessly clean. Ryan clearly pays attention to detail as there was thoughtfulness in every nook and cranny. For example, if you are a coffee lover, which we are, Ryan has available coffee beans, ground coffee and Keurig coffee pods and brewer. He also has a coffee grinder and a Bonavita coffee maker. My regret is not buying half and half on our way in as we weren’t sure if coffee would be available. Ryan also provides an electric kettle and tea bags for tea lovers. The kitchen is well stocked with quality equipment and pots and pans, and there’s quality toiletries and linens to boot. Above all, everything is clearly labeled. Having stayed at like units before, I marveled at Ryan’s thoughtfulness and have to place his unit as the best of its kind I’ve ever stayed at. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll plan on staying longer. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the view as we checked in late at night and the sunrise was obscured by morning fog. Thank you Ryan, for a wonderful and comfortable stay.

Positive: The scenery was absolutely stunning! The host Ryan was very welcoming and kind. There were two golden retriever dogs on the property who were very friendly and came out to welcome us when we arrived. The accommodations were very clean and had plenty of space.
