Positive: Fine decorated rooms with traditional furniture. Located in the forest and shaded cool area, AC were not required during our stay in July. Quiet place, recommended.

Positive: Everything about our experience was lovely. We were met by Adina, who checked us in and explained the property, and later met Vassilios. The care and attention paid to detail is what stands out immediately. Vassilios sought to faithfully reconstruct a specific, traditional form of architecture and experience in Viraggas, and he does it magnificently. It's a great location if you want to be away from the crowds and in a relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor spaces are lovely, great for sitting and having a drink in serenity. Really, everything is lovely and we could go on for ages about it, but what's truly special about Viraggas is that care and attention that go from the physical spaces to the personal relationships. Adina and Vassilios are warm, interesting, and thoughtful people who struck us as genuinely caring for their property and our experiences, without ever being invasive. In addition, Vassilios is an excellent chef and staying and trying his cuisine is definitely worth it.

Negative: Nothing that would remotely keep us from coming back.

Positive: Staying in the middle of the forest was a very peaceful experience. But it is better to call this place ''airbnb'' rather than a hotel. Owners were polite.

Negative: I was disappointed by the content of the breakfast. It was simply bread, butter, cold coffee, orange juice. Not even an olive. I dont understand why people in reviews say ''great breakfast''. Staying in a the forest of Greece but not having olives in the breakfast was very dissapointed. I also expected to have better coffee which is warm. Also the small swimming pool was empty, i can imagine its beacause its not summer yet, but i was expecting them to state this on their page for example like ''it is a seasonal pool'' , because for some customers it is already warm and they might want to use the pool. Also it would be better if they organize the outside seating area (breakfast area) because it looked like a unused space. Maybe it was because it was spring and customers preferred to sit inside, but for us it was hot and we preferred to sit outside.
