Summary: The elevator didn’t work… had to lug my two suitcases up the stairs to the third floor. They provided a room that sleeps four but had only one queen bed, one set of towels and no sofa. The door is locked after hours so don’t expect to come in after midnight. It’s a joke!

Summary: A very bad hotel. Not possible to close bathroom door, not possible to darken the room during night. This hotel is not worth the price!!

Summary: I was disappointed. As a former resident of Kongsvinger I happen to know that this used to be the very best Hotel in the town. It can now only be described as 'tired'. The staff were courteous, but not especially customer oriented. Room was comfortable, but not what I expected of a higher end hotel. The sauna was good, but the pool was very cold. Breakfast on day 1 was interesting as the yoghurt placed on the buffet had gone off. Not the very best advertisement for Kongsvinger.
