Our home "Burma Park on the Bench" located in Vineland, Ontario is surrounded by renowned wineries, including Vineland Estates Winery, Ridgepoint Wines, Tawse Winery and Megalomanic Winery. The Bruce trail is within walking distance and a short 4 minute drive will take you to scenic Ball's Falls. Only 35 minutes away from Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. 'Burma Park" offers spectacular views of vibrant vineyards and the dense forest of the Bruce trail. Enjoy a day trip into Toronto - 1 hr 20 min. drive.
The private lower level (basement )house apartment can be accessed from the rear of our home through the outside key-less (digital key pad lock) door. We live on the main floor.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms, each with king size bed and en-suite bathroom. The first bedroom has large soaker tub and separate shower as well as sink and toilet. The second bedroom has shower, sink and toilet. Bathrooms are fully stocked with lush towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner and sundries. The beds are made with fresh ironed linens and king-size pillows.
Full eat-in kitchen with microwave, coffee maker as well as full size fridge and stove. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, glasses and utensils. Coffee, tea, bottled water, milk, cream, and plethora of snacks provided.
The sitting/living area has a couch, love-seat and 2 chairs to enjoy sitting and chatting about the day's events. TV with Chromecast & Antenna (no cable) in sitting area and we also have wifi available to ensure you stay connected.
Shared Areas on the property include the raised deck with two distinct sitting areas and views of vineyards, large well lit pergola with firepit and lounge area, the cozy sitting area by fish pond. Outdoor seating areas are open June 1 to October 31.
The lower level self contained apartment is approximately 900 sq ft. We live on the main floor of our home so we are close by if needed but separated to ensure your privacy. We have exterior cameras to monitor the outside upper level doors of our home, driveway and north side.
We will be available in person or by texting/telephone to answer any of your questions or provide recommendations for the surrounding area. New to our family is wee ffinty our Welsh Terrier. She does not have access to the apartment but you may see her when she goes on her daily walks. She won't say no to a good ear scratch or head pat. Welsh Terriers are a hypoallergenic breed - Huzzah!
No smoking/vaping inside. Not suitable for pets. No parties or events. Not suitable or safe for children (0-14 years). Check-in is after 2:00 PM Check-out is by noon
Quiet hours are from 2:00 am to 6:00 am. Driveway has room for 2 guest vehicles. Only registered guests allowed on site.

Summary: Stayed here for a week in mid-October. It was perfect for two couples. The owners were very accommodating and helpful both prior to arrival and after answering all questions promptly. The place was immaculate and a fabulous chocolate bundt cake was waiting for us when we arrived! Beds were comfortable and had high quality bedding. We enjoyed the fire pit that the owners kept stocked with wood. Wineries were within walking distance or a short drive. Easy access to restaurants and QEW to get to Toronto, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Niagara Falls. Kitchen well-stocked, plenty of books and magazines as well. Would definitely return if get back to area. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Summary: A perfect location for visiting wineries and exploring The Bench and the Niagara region. The apartment was well equipped with all of the amenities of home. Upon arrival, we were met by Victoria who welcomed us and answered all of our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our six days and plan to return next year.

Summary: This was our first experience using Vrbo so we didn't really know what to expect. We were in Ontario for a family wedding at Cave Springs / Inn on the Twenty and I was drawn to this property and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival we were greeted by Bill and Victoria who made us feel right at home. The apartment had everything you needed, was very clean and comfortable. A freshly baked chocolate cake (delicious) was waiting for us along with a few other treats. We wish we had time to BBQ and enjoy evenings on the deck overlooking the vineyards but our time was limited due to wedding obligations. We were able to sit out in the mornings with our coffee and tea and take in the views. On our last evening we made a fire and sat out visiting with our hosts who we waved down to join us. There are 4 wineries within walking distance or a 1 minute drive - Vineland, Tawse, Ridgepoint and Meglomanic which was great; visited them all! Your place is truly lovely and it shows that you really care about it and your guests. We definitely recommend staying at Burma Park and can't wait to return. Thank you again for being wonderful hosts!

Summary: The place feels very homy and the surrounding ground make it a very relaxing vacation. Plan to stay there next year on our yearly visit to the Niagara region. The owners are super nice and it is a joy to talk with them. They were very helpful in guiding us using VRBO for the first time. In conclusion we had a fantastic 5 days stay in this property which is very nicely decorated and confortable.

Summary: Perfect hosts, beautiful property! Victoria and Bill paid attention to detail as they provided this beautiful property for visitors. It was perfect for two couples with separate bathrooms and king size beds. They have thought of all the details that make staying someplace else feel like home. We enjoyed having coffee together in the morning before setting off to discover the amazing winerys on the bench. The weather precluded us from enjoying the firepit and gorgeous outdoor seating area at night but the comfortable living area was perfect for relaxing, talking, and watching a movie together. We are hoping to return to the area and Burma Park would be our first choice in lodging! Thank you so much!

Summary: We were fortunate to have selected this property for our stay. The place was immaculate and the owner Victoria was lovely. Her chocolate cake was delicious. The property is nestled in wine country and there are some wonderful restaurants nearby. We cannot say enough positive things about our visit. Highly recommend it.

Summary: Vic and Bill's property is beautiful. The accommodations were very clean, the beds were comfortable and each bedroom had its own private bathroom. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and Vic was kind enough to ensure that there was cream, milk, tea, coffee, yogurt etc all stocked and ready for us when we arrived. All the plates, glasses, utensils, pots, pans and spices you could want are there should you like to make your own dinner. There is also a BBQ right outside your door. Guests also have access to a lovely second floor porch which was perfect for evening snacks and drinks. The porch also offers beautiful vineyard views. In addition, guests also have access to a beautiful and spacious outdoor lounge area complete with comfortable seating, tables, and lighting. The location of this property was excellent for touring around the wine regions. Many vineyards were quite close but you still felt secluded in your own private paradise staying at Vic and Bill's place. They were extremely welcoming and friendly and we would not hesitate to book with them again. I can't possibly say enough nice things about the place or the hosts.

Summary: A unique area of vineyards and wineries - even for wine amateurs like us. Charming setting literally surrounded by vineyards and dozens of wineries - yet close to Niagara Falls and Niagara Lake area as well. Hosts are the ultimate with everything provided from coffee to a lemon pound cake upon arrival. Quiet, peaceful setting with a nicely redone and remodeled basement apartment that felt just like home. Hosts greet you and answer questions and suggest highlights about the area. Exactly what VRBO should aspire to be - great summer destination. Thanks Bill and Victoria!

Summary: We have just returned from spending 4 nights at Burma Park. Victoria and Bill are the most welcoming and warm hosts in the world! After a very busy spring in the city, escaping to this beautiful and picturesque little gem was exactly what we needed. The whole place is spotless, the beds are super comfy and the towels are fluffy! A delicious coffee cake was waiting for us and we made it last the whole week! Victoria has beautiful taste and the decor reflects the nature and beauty of her vibrant gardens and the vineyards. The house is situated in a very quiet location in the middle of numerous vineyards with quite a few within walking distance. We enjoyed visiting the wineries close by and found them to be less commercial and more affordable than some of the wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Big budget or little, the area doesn’t disappoint! Victoria and Bill will answer any questions big or small about the area. They truly love their home and it shows! We feel so lucky that we spent time in this beautiful part of the Niagara region and will definitely be back! Heather & Don 😃

Summary: Just returned home from 3 nights at Burma Park and loved it ! The location is fabulous nestled in between some of the best wineries and great golf courses . The hosts Vic and Bill have thought of everything , including an amazing lemon cake to great guests! Loved the fact the apartment is stocked with all of the cooking items you may need including spices , oils, vinegars and not to mention yogurt , snacks and fresh fruit! Vic’s decorating touch was lovely and beds super comfy . Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking at spending a weekend in wine country ! Thanks again . Jane and Roger
