Summary: I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last 12 months, and am never disappointed with the service I get. Staff will go out of their way to sort any problems you might get. And for a small fee you can use the gym and the pool.

Summary: Bed was unbelievably comfortable. Everything you would need in a hotel room was there. Breakfast wasnt so great though. Id add at least some ham and cheese. The floor in my bathroom was not clean after the previous guests which was visible because of a certain stain on the floor.

Summary: Our second stay at The Village. Conveniently situated for bus into Edinburgh. Free parking at weekend. Nice bar and restaurant area. Rooms very clean and comfortable, ideal for a couple of nights. Will stay again.

Summary: Carpets in every room, outdated, allergi!?! Breakfast not up to international standar, only type English, for ex. no cheese, meat, no bread/buns and no fresh vegies. Okay hotel, maybe a 3 start but absolutly not a 4 star hotel...

Summary: I had the club room which was excellent, bed was very comfortable. The gym and pool facilities were excellent, however the pool/sauna/hot tub does get busy. Parking is easy. The breakfast is very good and also ate at the restaurant one evening and the food was also very good. Driving into the city is easy enough once you find the better value carparks. Would stay here again.

Summary: I enjoyed my stay at the village hotel. I loved the facilities of the pool and gym and although I did not go to the restaurant that was also a great aspect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned each day and new towels were given. Amazing stay :)

Summary: Not enough variety in the breakfast especially as it said intercontinental as part of the menu but it was just the usual english breakfast
