Positive: We had the most amazing stay at Villa Zoi. The villa itself was absolutely immaculate, but what really made our trip so special was Roberta, Gregory, and their wonderful family. They went above and beyond for us – even giving us lifts to and from meals when taxi prices were high, arranging groceries, and waiting up very late when our flight was delayed to make sure we were checked in comfortably. They struck the perfect balance of being so warm and welcoming while also giving us the space to enjoy the villa privately. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always so responsive and kind. Hiring a car was useful as the villa is a little more remote than we expected, but Gregory and Roberta guided us through all our options and made everything easy. Thanks to them, our grandad’s 80th birthday surprise was truly unforgettable. We cannot recommend Villa Zoi highly enough – not just for the beautiful villa, but for the genuinely kind and lovely people who made our stay so special.

Positive: A big, beautiful house with everything needed for a wonderful family vacation. Every room has air conditioning and mosquito nets. The pool isn't big, but it was perfect for cooling off in the hot weather. The area around the house is well-maintained. We loved the views from the veranda and the location—it's easy to get to the airport, as well as to the northwest of the island. The hosts were very responsive.

Negative: 1. The neighbor's dogs were barking. 2. The veranda is beautiful, but it's impossible to sit on, especially if you want to have a meal there, as there is a wasp nest somewhere nearby and all the wasps swarm around you. 3. Despite the closed windows and mosquito nets, in one of the bedrooms, the one closer to the bathroom, wasps were somehow getting in. As a result, one of the children was stung by a wasp. Be sure to carefully check the room for wasps.

Positive: We had a lovely 1 week stay in the villa - it was great for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids - 4YO and 10 months). The villa is in an idyllic location, 10 mins drive to the beaches of Glyfada and Kontogalios. The villa has a well equipped kitchen (quick oven and decent size fridge / freezer), aircon is brilliant throughout, fly net doors so the doors can still be open but no bugs are getting in, decent shower / bathroom and comfy (firm) beds. Roberta’s dad makes sure the pool is cleaned every day and the gardens are very well maintained. It is a rural location so a car is a necessity - no problem for us as we always hire. Beaches get very busy, but with kids we made sure to get there by 10am and we had no issue parking right by the beach. There isn’t much in the local vicinity of the villa but we didn’t plan to walk out from there, it was great for the kids to play in the pool and chill out in the lounge with TV after a full on beach day. A very central location meant good access to very kid friendly beaches but also Corfu town (20mins) & 10 mins to aqua land. Worth noting that there are dogs next door (and visiting cats) but tbh we didn’t mind them as it’s very rural so it’s good to have some security (great for the kids to spot), coupled with that Roberta’s dad lives at the back of the property - very discreet but good to have someone around!

Negative: Ticked all our boxes but… If you want things that are walkable then this isn’t suitable (shop/ bars etc). The comforts that would make great additions to an already fab holiday home - a dishwasher and black out curtains in the bedroom!

Positive: The house is very comfortable, nice and airy, with a few different pretty terraces to sit. It is decorated with care and love. The kitchen has everything, The host is very nice, flexible and helpful, the house was very clean. On arrival there was a bottle of water and a few beers in the fridge, so welcoming! The host has a little allotment where he grows tomatoes that we could pick, really lovely. You do need a a car, nice beach is about 8 min drive.

Negative: The pool is very small. It is okay to have a little dip in when its warm, but too small to play in. We have two kids of 12 and 15, for them it really was not suitable. A bigger pool would make the property perfect! Also, when we were there the guy living next door was a bit enthusiastic with his music, but guess things like that are just a bit of bad luck sometimes.
