Positive: This place is simply heaven on Earth. Every detail is curated but doesn't feel like it's there to be the background of a selfie, it's loved and thought out and plain beautiful. Location wise the blessings continue, as it's close to larger towns but isolated enough you'll sleep with the songs of the frogs. Breakfast is perfect, simple, delicious. Lunch and dinner options too, and the portions are generous. All in all, when you leave you start planning when you'll visit next.

Negative: Just to fill in the box, because for me it's not a deal-breaker at all, but an option of firmer pillows would be nice. No notes on anything else! I feel the need to add, by now I've been staying here for years and years, and every time somebody offers a suggestion it's improved upon!

Negative: They had a party function that lasted until 11pm; it would have been nice if they had warned us (we wouldn’t have changed our plans, it just would’ve been nice to know).

Positive: We typically stay at name-brand hotels but we wanted to experience something different this time. The Villa exceeded our expectations! What a charming place to stay. The property is situated among the rolling hills of Tuscany, approximately 1 hour from Bologna Airport. The view is simply breathtaking. I believe we visited during the off season, so we were the only guests for the first three days. Even though we were the only guests, the chef cooked splendid breakfast for us every morning. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a supermarket 5 minutes from the Villa which was convenient too. For sightseeing, it is about 1 hour to Florence, 1 hour to Pisa, and 1.5 hours to Bologna. We parked at public parking and took bus/light rail from those locations to avoid city traffic.

Positive: A beautiful location, the villa was simply gorgeous and wonderful to wake up to the stunning nature surrounding it. We are only sad we couldn’t stay longer! Due to an emergency trip to the hospital in Florence, we arrived late and didn’t get to enjoy the dinner and breakfast, although I can tell you the breakfast smelt amazing as we were leaving. I highly recommend this Villa, the staff are kind and attentive.

Positive: Our hostess Chiara was very welcoming from the start. She was very helpful throughout our stay. The villa is located at the top of a hill which meant amazing views. The room was comfortable and we had an excellent time. Great value for money!

Negative: Dinner did not meet our expectations compared to the high standard of restaurants in the area.
