The villa is isolated and was completely renovated in 2009. a splendid swimming pool was built in 2014 and is completely available to guests. Free wifi connection is also available. the structure is surrounded by a pine forest, olive trees, almond trees. two large verandas (one of which is covered where you can admire the Egadi), a large living room and a splendid built-in kitchen are available for guests.

Summary: This was our first visit to Sicily. We had some trouble locating the villa as it is 'out of town'. Buseta Polizollo is a small town and we thought from the address that the villa was in the town. In fact it is about 2km outside. So we missed meeting up with Pietro to get the keys. But communication was excellent and it was all sorted promptly. Pietro was an excellent host and gave lots of suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The villa was lovely and well appointed. It is an excellent base for touring around and a great place to relax in the evening with lovely views across to Trapani and Erice. Awesome sunsets :-0 There are 2 BBQs: one by the pool which we made good use of, and one under cover on the terrace. We had a lovely time here and I'm sure you will too

Summary: The Villa was perfect for us, with lovely pool in beautiful surroundings with lovely views. Location was very quiet, yet within close proximity to a number of towns and beautiful beaches. Pietro was an amazing host always available to answer an questions and offering great advice on where to visit.

Summary: This home was exactly what we were looking for. Close enough to all the places in northwest Sicily that we wanted to see, yet remote enough to feel like we were living in the countryside. Cool pool and covered patio for the hot days. Great kitchen and each room with its own en-suite. Host Pietro is very helpful and great communication.

Summary: What a treat to stay in a spacious farmhouse in the Italian countryside. Pietro was a great host/ responsive and helpful. We arrived without dinner, and he led us to a local place with great food. The home was comfortable and clean, with amazing views. The beds were comfortable, linens fresh and the pool was crystal clean. Highly recommend.

Summary: We had a fantastic week at Acqua di Menta in early July. The villa has stunning views of Erice and the Egadi islands. The pool and garden were lovely, full of wildlife and set in a very peaceful and relaxing location. The villa is very spacious, well laid out and has everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. Pietro was very friendly and a great host, always willing to help with great ideas for trips and available for any questions on WhatsAp. We arrived quite late in the evening and really appreciated the wine, fresh bread, fruit and yogurts that had been provided for breakfast the next morning. Pietro also provided delicious fresh coffee and olive oil from his own olive groves. We'll definitely be back for another visit. Thanks Pietro.

Summary: If you want a taste of the real Sicily, Acqua de Menta is it! Pietro is charming and knowledgable and very accessible via What's App. He delivered a bag full of gorgeous pastries from nearby Trapani on our first morning. He sent us to perfect beaches we never would have found otherwise, and invited us to join him in Trapani for remarkable Easter week traditions. The house feels as comfortable as a perfectly worn in pair of italian shoes, the kitchen is marvelously equipped, including every size of cafetiere and the absolutely perfect mortar and pestle for making the traditional trapanese pesto. The garden is a joy, with lemons and olives and herbs of every description. As if this weren't enough, the pool is gorgeous and perfectly set in the property. We never tired of the view across the valley to Trapani and the sea and the holy mount of Erice. My dream is to return as soon as possible!

Summary: We stayed in the lovely house for two weeks with 6 persons (4 adults and 2 children from Germany) in June 2016. It really is an awesome place to stay with an incredible view and a nice garden with pool (cleaned every second day). We really enjoyed our holiday in Sicilia and for us it was the perfect place to stay at. The house is tastefully decorated and clean, it was even cleaned twice during our stay. And there is one thing we really have to write about: We've had some experience with different houses on several European islands, but we never had such a nice and helpful landlord as Pietro! He is extraordinary friendly and even showed us how to make the best italian style pizza in the original brick oven next to the house. Thank you for all your help and good luck, Pietro! If you choose this house, you won't regret!

Summary: (Family - 4 persons - Hamburg, Germany) The villa, the garden and the pool are very spacious, very clean and in excellent condition. The beautiful countryside kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a comprehensive meal. The terrace at the house provides shade during the whole day and has a table big enough to fit a large family. Around the pool are various sunbeds and big trees provide shade, too. The view to Trapani, Erice and the coastline is terrific. The pool and the garden have been cleaned and trimmed every 2-3 days, the villa has been completely cleaned once a week, bed linen and towels have also been exchanged. Pietro (the owner) was very responsive and absolutely reliable during the reservation process. During our stay (3 weeks) he was always available when needed, always very friendly and gave us many useful tips for tours in the region. In short words: Pietro is an outstanding host! Thank You!
