Villa Alemà is a spacious villa with private pool and garden located on the south-eastern flanks of Mount Etna just a few minutes outside the towns of Aci S. Antonio and Acireale. The villa has high ceilings and smooth lava stone features. The garden is beautifully tended, with a perfect lawn and shaded areas, including a gazebo. Indoor and outdoor living areas combine seamlessly.
The villa consists of a main building on two floors and an annex:
- from the main entrance you access the living room that once was a ‘palmento’, an antique olive crusher. The living room opens onto a covered patio area, perfect for dining during hot summer days. The ground floor has a spacious kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 1st floor has a bathroom, 3 bedrooms with air conditioning, and a terrace with a wide view on Mount Etna.
- the annex is provided with air conditioning and has a double bed and a bathroom.
Groups of 6 persons and less benefit from a discounted price without the use of the annexe.

Summary: We had an amazing time at this very beautiful villa! It had everything you could ask for and more. The pool was in constant use as we were blessed with fantastic weather! The hosts helped us organise a birthday celebration lunch which was sublime. Special shout out to Gratz who was delightful to deal with and helped us organise a very memorable stay. 5 stars ⭐️ thank you

Summary: We had an amazing time in Sicily. We came with our four kids and they loved the space and huge pool. Myself and my partner loved waking up to the amazing views of Mt. Etna each morning and we had an absolutely fantastic week. We had read previous reviews and yes - some of the pieces were slightly rough around the edges but bearing in mind the sheer size of the place it would be hard not to find something! Nothing detracted from our stay and we really loved every minute. The villa is in a smaller town which isn't particuarly touristy - we loved this aspect. we were warmly welcomed everywhere we went and it was just a brilliant stay. Thanks again!

Summary: Wonderful house in large grounds with fabulous pool. However it needs attention. Pool tiles missing but not excessive. Inside is huge with 2 large and 1 smaller shower room. They desperately need updated - plenty of room for walk in showers and a bath! No shower mats we had to use towels. In the bedrooms the decor is either dull or too much colour. It’s such a great building having been an olive palmento. It deserves to be better styled! There are some wonderful touches but the seating areas need to be better. The kitchen is a great size with large fridge. The dining room is like a school dining hall with plastic table cloth over 2 tables. No lamps only overhead light. We rearranged it to suit us. There are plenty of sun beds and an outside table and chairs, covered. Also there are 2 outside pool showers. We didn’t use the self contained flat or the barbecue area (covered) It’s a quiet neighbourhood with great views of Mt Etna. You’ll need a car, there’s a big supermarket nearby. There’s a table tennis table. It’s quirky with 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 upstairs, 2 large terraces upstairs with outside steps to ground level. We enjoyed it as we spent our days by the pool but the inside needs attention. It could be stunning.

Summary: La maison est grande, agréable, au calme et proche des accès autoroutiers. L'accueil est sympathique. Massimo et Gratzelia étaient disponibles pour répondre à nos besoins. La vaisselle disponible ne correspond pas à la capacité de la maison. Les douches ne sont pas très fonctionnelles. Le billard annoncé à été remplacé par une table de ping pong.

Summary: Nous avons passé une semaine dans la maison, nous avons été très bien accueilli, la maison est spacieuse, nous étions 4 couples avec des enfants et pas de problèmes de places. La piscine est immense et très agréable. La maison est située au pied de l’Etna et proche de Catania et Taormina, une position idéale pour visiter les environs. Un petit bémol sur les salle de bain qui sont simples avec de petites douches.

Summary: We were 12 friends staying in the villa for a week and had a great stay. The villa is really spacious and the pool is huge! There’s lots of outdoor and indoor spaces to hang out and relax, and sunset views of mount etna from the Terrance were a treat every night. Even in late July the garden is lush and there were lots of places to keep cool in the shade. 2 of the bedrooms are without air conditioning but have fans. The kitchen is big and we cooked meals for 12 most nights comfortably, including big bbq area outside. The supermarket is a short drive away. We had one car between 12 people for supermarket trips, and used taxis which can be organised through the host to explore more of Sicily. The host organised an beautiful day trip on a boat for us, including lunch, drinks, cave swimming and also dolphins! Overall a great stay and we would return again

Summary: lovely large spacious villa with a very large pool ,there was 10 of us. we loved the table tennis and spent many hours playing of an evening . took full use of the outdoor kitchen/ bbq and enjoyed the view of Mount Etna as we ate or evening meal . quick trip to decathlon for a football and badminton set to add to the entertainment ( garden is more than big enough to accommodate this ) would recommend having a car to get out and about . all rooms upstairs have air con and so did the annex ,downstairs bedrooms had fans . communication was excellent on arrival ,during our stay ( we needed to contact them) and on check out as well . we had two cars and there was plenty of space to park behind the secure gates .

Summary: Villa Alemà was exactly what we were looking for for a week in Sicily. It was spacious, well equipped and clean. The pool area was our favorite and the kitchen and barbecue very nice as well! We where two families of four and a couple and had all the space we needed and more. We highly recommend Villa Alemà.

Summary: Willa jest świetną bazą wypadową do zwiedzania Katanii i okolic. Super basen, posiłki przy wielkim stole z widokiem na dymiącą Etnę, wielki ogród, w któym dzieci świetnie się bawiły, to wszystko sprawia, że pobyt w willi jest naprawdę przyjemny. Willa znajduje się trochę na uboczu - nie ma transportu publicznego, więc trzeba wypożyczyć auto nas czas pobytu - co nie jest tanie na Sycylii , więc warto zrobić to z dużym wyprzedzeniem czasowym. Do supermarketu Deco 6 minut samochodem. Do Katani ok. poł godziny drogi , płatną autostradą za 0,5 Euro. Dużo atrakcji do zwiedzania w promieniu 150 km od Willi. Willa schludna i czysta. Byliśmy grupą 10 dorosłych + 6 dzieci i nie było problemu z brakiem miejsca - to naprawdę duży obiekt. Super kuchnia - otwarta na ogród od strony basenu. Jedyne minusy to brak ciepłej wody w prysznicu na górze, ale to nie problem, bo do dyspozycji były jeszcze 3 na dole oraz to, że po odbiór kluczy przy naszym wyjeździe właściciel przyjechał bez gospodarza,a nie mówi po angielsku , przez co nie mogliśmy dogadać się w kwestii płatności podatku klimatycznego. Ogólnie super pobyt! POLECAM!

Summary: Mooie villa met ruime kamers, een prettig zwembad, heerlijke tuin, fijne buitenkeuken voor de BBQ en prachtig uitzicht op de Etna. We hebben hier met 8 personen/2 families een prettige week doorgebracht. Voornaamste minpunt: de douches zijn erg klein en hard aan een renovatie toe.
