Positive: Extremely helpful owner. Lovely location. Very comfortable with some lovely outdoor areas, particularly a private terrace partially overlooking the sea. The owner was there if needed, but otherwise let us enjoy this lovely property overlooking the sea. We really enjoyed being at the Villa The Spot.

Negative: Nothing. The lower areas will presumably be modernised (A/C), but the rooms were nevertheless very comfrotable.

Summary: Lovely break, very pleasant and private outdoor spaces. A week was too short.

Positive: I travelled to the villa with my wife and four children. We all thought the villa was fantastic and really well equipped especially if you are taking children. The location and views are amazing, and as lovely as the pictures are online, it is so so much more beautiful when you're actually there! You absolutely have to see and feel the house - there is no adequate description by words only. Faultless. Magnificent. Intimate. Comfortable. Owner very keen to go out of his way to please guests. Also, there is so much to do in the village with an abundance of good restaurants. The setting is great and we plan to spend some holiday time here in the future. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Summary: Beautiful villa in excellent location - just a couple of meters from the beach.

Positive: The house is the owner's treasure. They care a lot. The kitchen is well equiped, we also used an electric grill in the garden. The masters' bedroom and the living room upstairs are the best parts of the house, not only because of the splendid view but also with a nice designer's touch. We sat in comfy chairs on the balcony for ages...Very good location at the end of the village, the sea is literally 20 m from the house.The garage is available for your car + 2 car stands in front of and by the garage, so 3 cars can get parked next to the house behind the closed gate.The local food store and exchange office is cca 1 km away but 2 bikes from the house are very handy, I used them every morning for a ride and shopping. A bakery stand is just cca 15 m from the house and the ice-cream stand is cca 20 m away. The restaurants are also very close. Everything you need is not very far. Zaostrog village is a quite place, suitable for families couples and those who prefer quite place to stay. We had no problem to water the plants and trees in the garden as it created the nice lavender smell around. The owner is a communicative person willing to make your stay in his house a pleasant stay with nice memories. We hope to visit this place again next time.😉

Negative: We would appreciate to have a coffee machine for ground coffee (there is Nespresso though), we went for a nice morning coffee near the campsite, so it wasn't a big deal. Unfortunatelly, there is no air-conditioning in downstairs rooms (only electric fans). And, be ready to use mosquito repellents in the evening while sitting in a garden.

Positive: The location is ideal - a lovely, quiet cove away from the crowds but close enough to Dubrovnik and nearby islands of Brač and Hvar to make several trips during our stay. The house is spacious and well laid out, has lots of indoor and outdoor living areas, large bedrooms and attractive bathrooms. We spent most of the times on the balconies with an amazing views to sea and the nearby islands. When you wake up in the morning the view from the master bedroom is absolutely breathtaking. The pebble beach is just a few steps away in front of the house. The kids loved the beach as well as my older parents who had no trouble spending most of the morning there enjoying the shade. The property owner Luka was very responsive to our inquiries and we were able to arrange a great vacation. The housekeeper Ina was lovely and made us feel really welcome when we arrived.

Negative: My family had a wonderful week in the The Spot. I only wish we had booked sooner to enjoy the two week vacation but this place gets booked fairly early. Next time I will book our stay by the January!
