Positive: The accommodation was amazing and even more beautiful than in the photos. It was not only comfortable, but the house and interior are very aesthetically and artistically renovated. The thick stone walls provided a natural climate, so we didn’t need to use the air conditioning at all. We enjoyed the beautiful terrace the most. In the mornings, we did our exercises there, and in the evenings, we relaxed on the sofa with a view of the surrounding landscape or we relaxed in the hot tub. That stunning view from the terrace enchanted me every morning and evening, again and again.

Positive: This is a unique and excellent place to stay for a quiet retreat. The views are huge and take your breath away every morning. The upstairs terrace has loungers, seating area and the all-important hot-tub - oh and a traditional bbq with chimney as well. A/c works well, tv works well for Netflix if you bring your sign-in details, and the kitchen is well equipped, although a toaster would be good. The ambience is wonderful, especially at night when it’s dark enough to see the Milky Way- bliss. Toto is a great host. If you hadn’t guessed - we loved it and didn’t want to leave!

Negative: It’s difficult to find first time, as it’s wrongly located on the booking.com map. Put in Auto Kralj (a one man paint repair shop down the road, no noise) into the satnav instead.

Positive: Toto was a very kind host. He asked every day if everything was okay. We picked up the house clean. Toto took care of every detail and explained everything thoroughly. We felt right at home. The jacuzzi at sunset is amazing. We couldn't fault anything. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Tantini.

Positive: Everything was absolutely amazing! Toto and his wife are amazing hosts and have the house equipped exceptionally. I still cannot believe we were privileged enough to be able to stay in Villa Tantini. Listen to Toto's recommendations, he knows what he is talking about and thanks to him I might have had the best dining experience of my life. The views are exceptional, the spaces are full of history yet comfortable and clean. I hope I can come back sooner than later. Thank you for everything!
