Summary: My husband and I were absolutely blown away by the location of this property and really the views of the lake which are quite breath taking. The villa sits directly on the edges of the lake and is quite well appointed. The house comfortably sleeps 6, but it was just the two of us. We rented a car which made it easy to commute to neighboring towns. Giuseppe is very communicative and made sure we were comfortable for our entire stay. He provided excellent recommendations for local transportation (such as boat taxis and tours) as well as local dining and other activities. The Vassena ferry port is located a short 4-5 minute walk from the house which made accessing the boats very easy. We are at the local restaurant El Molo 5 one evening and loved it - highly recommend. We plan to visit the Villa again with bigger group in the future. This place is an absolute gem.

Summary: We were on the Lecco branch of Lake Como. Beautiful and quiet. Walked to the market and to a great little restaurant. Easy ferry ride from Vassena to Bellagio. We did have a car and driver recommended by our host - Silvio- he was fabulous. So we did book one tour of the lake, the villas, and Bellagio. We were most happy to enjoy the villa.
