Positive: Villa San Giorgio is located in olive and forest surroundings. If you like nature but still be close to urban areas and historical places, this will be the perfect spot. House is surrounded by trees and nature. Numerous runners and walking enthusiasts use this area. Three separate rooms with bathrooms, large living rooms, and a great kitchen in addition to a private and spaceus parking lot make Vila simple and gorgeous. Outside the Villa grill story can be made next to the swimming pool, kids friendly but still large enough for enjoyment. Water is potable and drinkable. You can enjoy local vine and olive oil made by the owner of the property. Road towards Villa could be tricky for a first-time, small portion, but quickly, you use to it. Good located Villa gives you options to visit Firenza, Pisa, Livorno, Prato, Montemurlo, and so on. Large shopping malls are nearby, as well as fuel stations. One more time expressing gratefulness to the owner and the support team, Letizia, Francesca, and Erika. All of them are simple professionals they are very friendly and responsive. Simple visit and relax

Positive: Lovely location situated on a hill near Florence. The location is in a rural area surrounded by olive treas. You can experience the silence while the view is fantastic.

Negative: The house is a typical Tuscan villa provided with enough space and a very nice atmosphere. The view is exceptional. The hospitality of the team is great.

Positive: The property was spacious and had plenty of space, There were a good number of bathrooms. It was clean overall.

Negative: The electrics need updating. Modern travel adaptors do not work so no one could charge their gadgets properly. We relied on 2 old fashioned adaptors provided by hosts.The plug sockets were slightly fragile so did not feel safe. The property needs either air conditioning units or better quality fans. The fans they provided were of a low standard and poorly maintained. In the extreme temperatures, it was impossible to sleep as having windows open resulted in mosquitos. Only one of the wall mounted fan units worked. The pool was not a pool as advertised but a tub. There was also not enough space for everyone to sit downstairs comfortably. Property not suitable for young families. The owner and the rep from the managing company responded to messages and were friendly.

Summary: A rustic place in the hills but needs upgrading and investment to bring up to scratch.

Positive: Amazing location, great villa. Good size rooms and good facilities. Great views from the top of the hill, the people were super responsive and clear about the facilities in the villa.

Negative: The size of the pool from the pics is a bit misleading, it's actually the size of a jacuzzi.

Positive: This was just one big, super fast rollercoaster through the history of Roman Empire, Middle Ages blooming into Renaissance, Arts, Politics, power struggles of great houses of Medici and sooo much more. As for the house everything was as I could have imagined, spacious and comfortable - with views taken straight out of a fairy tale. We came with our own car covering more than 1,500 km in one shot so the coordination with the host on time of the arrival was crucial and this was done over WhatsApp in a friendly open and proactive manner, couldn't expect better performance even from a swiss watch. It takes 30 min to get to Firenze so this place is definitely for motorized guests, located on a olive hill requires some skill to drive through narrow winding road at the last couple of hundred of meters, but each and every time we were getting out of the tourist crowded Florence, the house was the most welcome refuge. The cabinet with local wines in the living room is a "nice to have" stock if one doesn't feel like shopping every day. Montemurlo is a small suburban town but has all the shops and services needed. We have even found a super friendly mechanic who had helped with a car emergency without waiting or setting fixed date. This was just a perfect stay. Can't wait to come back in summer months when the pool/ jacuzzi is on.
