Positive: Diana and Noel are the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome in their delightful French-style home. We arrived on a chilly, wet day and before too long were treated to cake and tea in front of a roaring log fire in the guest lounge. (As Diana and Noel take only single-party bookings, it was, in fact, our personal lounge.) The weather can change swiftly in these parts and when the sun came out we enjoyed a glorious walk in nearby Queens Park. The en suite bedroom is beautifully appointed, with bath, shower, separate toilet and a generous supply of luxurious towels. We enjoyed a great night’s sleep, a tasty breakfast and wished we could have stayed longer.

Positive: Noel and Diana were so helpful in recommending things to do and places to eat. Noel made us a wonderful breakfast every morning. We were sad to leave. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed. We even had our own lounge.

Negative: It was a great stay. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like
