Summary: Staff were all lovely, good food, comfortable room. We travelled with our 1 year old. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier, surprised that other residents or members of public in for dinner seemed to be annoyed when he got a little bit upset towards the end of eating. He was waving and they looked away. Not hotels issue but going to family friendly places is always helpful.

Summary: We have stayed at the villa rose and Jackson’s multiple times. We got at least 6-7 times per year. Staff are always warm welcoming and go out of their way to make sure we have a great stay. The rooms are beautiful and exceptionally clean. The food in the forge bar is excellent both for adults and kids. Our kids love the pool in Jackson’s and I love the spa in the v spa which is in the villa rose. The treatments I have received there are second to none I have had spa treatments all over the world and would definitely rate the v spa in the top 3. We can not wait until our next stay. ❤️

Summary: Clean well presented rooms but the quality of the breakfast was just ok the scrambled eggs and hot foot was just ok , the dinner was just ok the Sunday carvery was amazing and of high quality.

Summary: Had a lovely weekend here, the room was just ok, needed a bit of attention in places, safe didnt work, sink badly cracked and constant clicking noise coming from somewhere. What made the weekend was the staff from the lovely Sinead in housekeeping and the fantastic staff in Forges bar where the food was absolutely superb, do good we ate here both nights.

Summary: The room was great , clean and tidy , warm and modern bright bathroom. The staff were brilliant very friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was top notch too. We eat in the forge bar, two nights. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Villa Rose for wee break.
