Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Amazing place, peaceful, beautiful representation of Finland. Clean and very comfortable house, Kitchen had all you need to cater for a couple of larger family and everything was of high quality. Loved the chill days going for walks, having a hot tub, cooking outdoors, hot tub or an outdoor wood sauna. Also a Sauna in the house for lazier indoor evenings. Driving on the roads in deep snow and finding supermarkets stocked with all the necessary made the experience of staying away from town reassuring. We visited the local wildlife park which is highly recommended and the National Park hiking was clearly waymarked. A very special relaxing break away from it all. Our Host Esa was amazing and was easily contactable and very attentive. Would highly recommend, we rarely say this but we really do look forward to booking a week there again.

Positive: The cabin is simply amazing! It is secluded, has amazing property around it, only 40 mins from Rovaniemi, 15 mins from Ranua Zoo, 20 mins to Ranua. It is very well decorated with attention to detail, very cozy, super clean, lots of space! Electric sauna, wooden sauna, kota, lakefront with beautiful pine trees and birch trees all around! Aurora watching was simply amazing on a lake! The kitchen is very well stocked. Linens are crisp, all new mattresses and pillows. Cabin gets amazing sunrises and aurora! Esa is extremely welcoming and friendly, he made a sledging hill for kids and provided sledges, helped fire up the firewood lakeside sauna which was a highlight for my husband. Lots of kids books, some toys, two TVs, two fireplaces. The place is simply a heaven for quite slow days spent in winter paradise enjoying both inside and outside. We had the best time at Esa’s cabin! Would love to visit in a summer now too! Thank you!
