Positive: My husband and I loved everything. We had the Tower room and it was beautiful and big. Exceeded our expectations. The villa was at the top of a hill like a castle with a beautiful garden that had a large pool. The staff were kind and loved the food from the restaurant inside the villa. Loved their house red wine.

Negative: The only small thing was no access to WiFi in the bedrooms. We could only access it downstairs in the common areas. However because it’s a beautiful Tuscan getaway. Not being on our phones for a bit in the day was a good experience.

Positive: Fantastic location set within a beautiful historic villa with breathtaking views.

Negative: Lacks a little tlc in places which with a little investment could secure 5 star status and possibly transform the hotel into one of the most exclusive hotels in Tuscany. Having said that though it would lose some of its charm and character but certainly requires some investment.

Summary: Wonderful old villa, wonderful location and wonderful staff and will definitely be visiting again.

Positive: If you want to step back in time with a relaxing atmosphere, this place is for you , as long as you don't expect a five-star experience, the views are a 10 , the building is rustic with its old charm . The rooms are large with beautiful views from the windows , the beds could do with an upgrade but it's better not to be too fussy as the Tuscan hills and the views make up for the sleeping conditions. We really loved the service from the staff , especially Silvia working in the morning , Thank you, Silvia .we highly recommend staying in Patina Hotel , for the best time in Italy 🇮🇹. Thank you to all the staff , you were amazing and made us feel at home . Grazie mille ❤️

Negative: Rooms are quite tired and while to pool looks stunning from a distance up close the area is untidy and most of the loungers have rips etc. Hotel room had one window that came to our knees… Staff could do with a lesson in friendliness. Breakfast had a good variety but often it had run out or it had wasps in/on it
