Positive: Everything about the house was brilliant, and a great outdoor space as well. The hosts were also fantastic - nice welcome drinks when we arrived and never too much trouble to help on anything we asked. Also great that their bar is at the end of the road on a beautiful beach.

Positive: We liked the semi-rural location of the house, next to fields, olive groves and sheep. It was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Between the mountains and the sea. A 10 minutes walk to the beach and beach bars, and similar to a good supermarket in Kavros. It was a quiet location. 40 minutes walk to Georgioupoli, we hired bikes for ease. The check in and service was seamless and helpful, and the property was cleaned every three days. And it was generally very clean. The villa and grounds were large and had almost everything we needed. We were met with fruit, wine, vegetables, bread, which was very welcome.
Negative: The villa is 100m up an unmade road, we got 2 bicycle punctures and local taxis wouldn't drive up. It would be a problem for the less mobile/pushchairs. The huge upper balcony with stunning mountain views desperately needs movable, light loungers and parasols as it was mostly too hot to use, which was sad. Movable loungers would also be good in the garden. Initially the tiny kettle packed up, although they very quickly replaced it with a better one. Also, tiny toaster... Proper showers needed, and a full refresh of the shabby bathrooms too. But not a deal breaker. Finally, the villa boasts having bicycles but these are not fit fot purpose! Should be replaced please!
Summary: Grand traditional villa near mountains, almost perfect, we'll be back!

Positive: The villa itself was stunning and exactly as the pictures showed it, in fact better. Lovely and spacious, with plenty of room for us all, and very well equipped with everything you might need. Its location was just right - close enough to the beach (a 9-minute walk), shops, tavernas etc but out of the way enough for peace and quiet. It was situated up a track off the main road which meant there was hardly any passing traffic so we had privacy . The owner was there to greet us when we arrived, and was extremely friendly and helpful, and when we needed anything from him we just messaged or called him and he was there within minutes to assist. Overall we couldn't fault it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Negative: There was nothing major that we didn't like, but the only thing I would recommend would be for the upstairs shower to have something fitted to the wall to hold the shower head, as we had to hold it. Not a huge issue though. If you don't mind walking then it's fine, but it is quite a walk into Kavros and the closest supermarket (probably 20 minutes), and a dusty uphill track to the villa, so if you are less mobile it would be advisable to rent a car. Also, the piano needs a tune-up!

Positive: With having two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs the villa is excellent for a three generation holiday. The terrace upstairs is on all four sides and so is the garden so we were able to have quiet moments alone if we wanted but there was ample space for us all to get together for meals and games. The BBQ area is great and has shade and lighting for day time and evening meals. The village is quite small but is in walking distance and has several good places to eat, especially Pelagia's Yard. The beach taverna, also in walking distance, was great for lunches, but due to the time of year (October) wasn't open in the evening. We all had a fabulous time and have no hesitation in recommending a stay in this lovely villa.
Summary: Wonderful Villa, wonderful location, wonderful holiday!
