Positive: Everything!!! The view is insane and to be able to wake up to it every morning is just wonderful. The people who manage the property are so friendly and go out of their way to help you - better than a concierge! Thank you Paolo and Pippo!! The room was clean and everything was just perfect we couldn’t have asked for more :)

Positive: Vila Paradiso is a real paradise. When we arrived at Lipari, Marcello picked us up from the harbour. He told us where we should eat (f.e. Ristorante Le Macine - you can eat there handmade pasta and drink local beer), what to see and where to go. He was very helpfull and kind. We borrowed a scooter from him, which made exploring the island much easier. And About the view from the terrace..BREATHTAKING!!! When you want to relax - you just go outside and lie in a hammock. I’m sure we’ll comeback back there one day. This place is definitely worth it! Marcello - thank you and see you soon!!!

Positive: A little paradise on earth. Claudio and Marcello picked us up right at the ferry and even took us back on the morning of our departure at 7 a.m. All this free of charge! The ground floor studio is just perfect: a small kitchen and bathroom, air conditioning, and an excellent bed. We never got tired of the breathtaking view, which changes color throughout the day. It’s very easy to rent a scooter directly from the two brothers for €25 per day (highly recommended, as it’s almost impossible to explore everything on foot). A supermarket and a butcher shop are just 3 minutes away by scooter and have everything you need. One of the very best place we stayed at in Sicily and the Aeolian Islands. Grazie mille per tutto, Marcello e Claudio! We will be back!

Positive: The owners went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and help me with my stay. As a solo female traveler trying to get to the island on a day where both trains and flights were delayed because of strikes, the owners gave me a sense of security and comfort. They called the ferry company to make sure that ferries would still be going to the island that day. Also, they were kind enough to pick me up from the ferry terminal and bring me to Villa Paradiso. They were very responsive when I had questions or needed anything. Besides the great owners, the location was truly peaceful and beautiful. Perfect for a getaway.

Negative: If you are staying in Lipari, make sure you are renting a car or bike! It is not a very walkable island.

Positive: It was quiet and friendly. The view was exceptional! Our room had a private terrace with table and chairs and hammock. There was a beautiful honeysuckle vine that smelled so good, bees swarming it that had no interest in us. Our host Paolo met us at the ferry to guide us up the winding roads to the property at the top of the mountain in Pianoconte.

Negative: It was perfect for our stay on Lipari
