Positive: We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Villa Ortensia. It is a perfect place to relax and recharge from everyday life and enjoy beautiful views from multiple terraces as well as from bottom of the garden overlooking the sea and breath taking sunsets. It provides a nice balance of quiet, peaceful stay but at the same time it is within a short driving distance to beautiful Cefalu, with rich history and many local restaurants. And last, but not least, hosts are very lovely and attentive individuals - thank you for making our stay exceptional.

Positive: This home was beautiful. Very clean and very spacious. If you are looking for a quiet location this is it. Hosts were fantastic, very helpful and responsive.

Negative: If you like night life and a lively beach you will need to drive to Cefalu beach where all the action is. That was the only down fall. Also bring a small car if you’re driving, parking is free but is a challenge.

Positive: Serena and Lorenzo are incredibly welcoming hosts who truly care about helping their guests make the most of their stay in the region. They kindly lent us all the equipment we needed to fully enjoy the beautiful beaches they recommended, which turned out to be absolute gems. The house is very well maintained, tastefully decorated, and feels wonderfully comfortable. The sea-view deck at the end of the garden offers magical moments of contemplation and relaxation – a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of the surroundings.

Negative: Nearly everything was perfect - but: 1. You got electric chok when you touched the washingmachine - it could use a replacement. 2. The brushes for the toilets should be replaced more often - it is not nice to use an old brush to clean the toilet.

Positive: What a gem! A truly much loved holiday home of the lovely family that own it! Perfect position with lots of terraces to suit time of day and gorgeous views over the sea! We loved the decking overlooking sea and Cefalù. Fantastic to walk down to swim from rocks but also two good beaches within easy walking distance. Communication with Serena the host easy and prompt. House itself comfortable and would suit all seasons. We ate in quite a bit with well stocked kitchen. All round fab!
