Positive: The location exceeded our expectations and is equipped with everything you need for a successful vacation. It is much more spacious than it can be seen in the photos. All the rooms are large, including the bathroom (we also appreciated the washing machine). We especially liked the terrace where, in the morning, we could have breakfast in complete peace and quiet in the shade. And speaking of peace, yes, it is very, very quiet. Extremely quiet I could say (excluding the cicadas). Therefore, if you are looking for a quiet location and generous in space, here you will find it.

Negative: Access to the location may be considered quite difficult for some on the narrow, sloping and winding Greek streets. I recommend Google Maps and not Waze. Also, parking a larger car in the yard is a bit challenging. We were with an SUV. Although the yard would allow parking two cars, this is hardly possible. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher, but it did not bother us because we did not use it. Warning! Starting with 2025, a fee of €15 per night must be paid for five-star apartments and studios, but also for family houses over 80 that we did not know about and which was not included in the reservation on Booking. The host asked us to pay the difference for that fee, which was a little annoying (in the conditions in which we have stayed this year in other locations in Greece that were equally spacious or even more spacious and we were not asked for that fee).

Positive: Villa Mouria is a lovely home in an idyllic location in the beautiful mountains of Lefkada. It was clean, comfortable beds, large bathroom with washing machine and a convenient kitchen. The village was charming with friendly neighbors. Getting to Lefkas from this location was easy and took about 10 minutes by car. There are beautiful neighboring villages, in the mountains, with their own charm and wonderful places to eat or grab a latte. We really loved staying here. The air has that mountain fresh smell, and the views are breathtaking. We didn't really use the patio but it is a lovely outdoor space. And there is no shortage of village cats. All in all a great place to visit.

Negative: Adding a vegetable peeler to the kitchen utensils would be helpful.

Summary: Beautiful cottage in the mountains.
