Positive: I have returned to the villa several times now and always have been extremely impressed by its very kind and accommodating staff. It truly is one of my favorite places to visit.

Positive: We loved everything about this hotel (well, I would have loved to have a bigger room or at least with a better access bed), but the breakfast and dinner were amazing! Also the you could not have a better location. We also reserved a hammam retreat and it was assume! Also Fatima was very friendly!

Negative: The accès to our bed, was a bit uncomfortable, but since we we just staying 2 nights we decided no to ask for a change of room, although our room was very nice, small but very nice.

Summary: Without a doubt, the best Riad in Essaouira!!

Positive: Wonderful family-run hotel. Comfortable, welcoming, with delicious food - and an excellent cooking lesson with the hotel's delightful chef. A day by the pool at the hotel's garden location was a great break from the town.

Negative: There was very little not to like. If I had to be critical, our room was very comfortable but looked out on a white wall immediately opposite us...next time I will ask for a room with a view.

Positive: Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful - they also offered great customer service. The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Views from the rooftop terrace are stunning both during the day and at sunset and the breakfast served there was delicious. I would definitely recommend Villa Maroc!

Negative: `Be aware that rooms backing onto the Taros rooftop bar can be noisy until late.
