Positive: Good space for the number of people we had on the trip. We were welcomed by the host and had open dialogue with the owners who gave us good information about the area.

Negative: The swimming pool wasn't heated and the access/location wasn't the easiest.

Summary: A pleasant property which had really good amenities. The hosts were great and really helpful.

Positive: Beautiful villa in a stunning location next to an orange grove, with views of the mountains. Lovely walk into the town centre and a rocky walk over the hill takes you to the idyllic Cala Sant Vincent’s for a beach day. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful - they ensured we found the villa ok, provided us with fresh eggs and took us to the shop for supplies. The pool, garden, bbq and table tennis were great and beach towels were also provided. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Negative: A few mozzies about so take spray.

Positive: Lovely property in a private location. The layout worked well with our party. Everyone had their own space and lovely communal spaces too.

Negative: Would have been nice to have a few more utensils and basics, but we love to cook at home so may not be a priority for everyone.

Positive: The most wonderful family ran Villa and amazing hosts. We arrived early and whilst we waited by the pool the owners offered us some snacks and drinks before letting us access early. My husband and I had a wedding to attend one day and they kindly offered to collect us and drive us home (taxis are a nightmare!), it was also my son’s birthday and they sent a lovely message for him. Overall fantastic place to stay and unbeatable hospitality.

Negative: A little bit off the beaten track but well worth the short bumpy drive.

Positive: We had a family holiday at Villa Maria in August with 7 people ranging in age from 4 to 72. The villa was perfect with plenty of space both inside and out. The villa owners kindly left us fruits, vegetables and fresh eggs and also replenished the eggs half way through the holiday which was most appreciated. The villa is well equipped and modern inside although you do need to supply your own washing powder, dishwasher tablets etc. it is in a lovely position about a mile from Puerto Pollenşa marina. This is an easy walk apart from the lane from the villa which is quite stony. This may be an issue for those with reduced mobility. The villa is in a peaceful spot surrounded by lovely countryside and very private. We very much enjoyed our holiday here and would be more than happy to return.

Positive: It was tricky to find the property in the dark as it is on a narrow road so it would be advisable to try and arrive in daylight if possible. The owners were brilliant at helping us find it.

Negative: The narrow road on the way. Contact the owners and make sure you get the photos to find it.

Positive: The property was large, airy, and spotlessly clean. It had everything you could need for a family. The pool area is beautiful. The orchards are an added bonus as are the chickens! The location is quiet and rural, but you can walk to town in 20mins. Maria and Miguel were wonderful hosts, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much! There are 3 outdoor seating areas, a table tennis table, and 2 terraces. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Negative: The ONLY thing is that the driveway up to the property is long, secluded and bumpy. If you have mobility problems it would be a struggle. You need a torch in the dark. Also just to note the pool is one depth, no shallow end.

Positive: Beautiful villa in a stunning quiet location. The photos of the villa were very accurate and the outside space was great for the whole family The hosts Maria and Miguel were very helpful . We chose not to hire cars and Maria helped arrange a local transfer who took us directly to the door and we used the local bus service for our days out. The walk into Port de Pollensa, although along an uneven track in places, is easily walkable and well worth it.

Negative: A minor observation, some basic washing up / cleaning items would have been useful. Also some people may find walking on the rocky track difficult. Neither of the above spoilt our holiday and we had an amazing time.
