Summary: Friendly personnel, very cute hotel with country home atmosphere, nice rooms with comfortable beds (flat floor shower easily flooded though); breakfast is rich and offers a well prepared selection of continental, English style, and local foods. In walking distance from city and conference center.

Summary: This is an old wooden building. It was extremely hot. There was a fan in the room but it did not do much. The location is good as well as the breakfast. Friendly staff commited to help.

Summary: This is a quaint hotel that will certainly appeal to a lot of people. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The layout and stairs might be a problem for people with mobility difficulties. The dining room had limited hours and the next closest restaurants are 0.5-1 km away. Travellers should be aware that sidewalk clearing in winter is not as complete as is common in North American. Beware, the sidewalks can be very icy. This obviously is not the hotel's responsibility. We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We cannot fault the warm and accommodating service of the staff at this property. They made us very welcome. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. As we visited during a very warm period, the addition of air conditioning or fans would have been good. The hotel is not in the city centre, but only a short walk will get you there. Recommend it.

Summary: Beautiful, historic inn. While it was a little awkward to have to exit the main building to access our building, and negotiate the circular staircase with our luggage, it was a lovely building, and we enjoyed our every minute there. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The University, the museums and historical sights were all within walking distance. We didn't have to use the car. When it came time to eat, their food was the best.

Summary: This is a delightful,small boutique hotel about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Not modern but it does have fridge and the usual comforts. Nicely decorated in a traditional style. Very well maintained and serviced. Spotlessly clean. Staff were the most welcoming and helpful in my 50 years of travel on five continents. After 6pm catering is limited but there are plentiful restraints and cafes in the city. Car park is good and convenient. Some rooms involve climbing fairly steep flight of stairs
