Positive: The staff was amazing. They were there for your every need. The lodge was peaceful and beautiful.
Negative: There is construction going on so during the day there was a little noise from up above. I understand they are adding more rooms to the resort so I did not mind much. It would not deter me from staying again

Positive: Beautiful grounds and swimming pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfortable.
Negative: The one big negative for us unfortunately was the food and service in the hotel restaurant. On the first night we sat down in the restaurant, we asked twice for the wobbly table to be fixed and ended up doing it ourselves. We say a pizza oven with flames and bread being made so ordered bread to start. The bread never arrived. When we ordered pizza we were told they would need to check if this was possible, after checking they said it was. We then waited at least 40 minutes for the food before some came over and told us pizza wasn’t actually possible- unacceptable! Our 7 year old was extremely hungry and tired at this point. My soup was cold and the steak was tough. At breakfast the food isn’t covered so there are flies literally all over the food. This could be easily avoided by using some net coverings.

Positive: The property is beautiful, gently fitting into the natural environment that surrounds it. The rooms are lovely, large and comfortable. The staff are genuinely kind and caring. Even with the language barrier we shared many laughs. The food is exceptional.

Positive: Nice place to stay in Tarapoto, close enough to the city, but still immersed in nature. The rooms are nice, the breakfast was good, and free airport pick up and a room upgrade (since the Lodge was half full) with Genius benefits was a nice goodie.
Negative: On the first day they just decided that it is not worth giving a breakfast buffet for the guests, since we were too few, but never mentioned it to us. So we got 1 fried egg and some fruits and 2 pieces of bread for breakfast. For the price of this lodge, I would definitely expect certain services to be included, for example water bottle refill in the room's fridge. Never did they tell us that the water bottles in the room were to be paid for (nor when we asked about if they could replace the bottles of water, since we mentioned that they forgot to replace them as part of housekeeping). They definitely lack the minimum communication with guests, and we speak Spanish fluently, so it's not about the language, it's lack of customer service generally speaking.

Positive: The staff were excellent, very friendly and professional. I stayed for 5 nights on my own and then my daughter and family joined me. Great place to stay as a solo traveller or as a family. I'd definitely return!
Negative: When I was there on my own there weren't many guests. They just asked what I wanted for breakfast instead of giving me a menu. When others arrived we had a great buffet breakfast and that was when I realised I'd been missing out on some very nice food for the previous 5 days!
