Positive: Extrodinary. We had a large room with great bed on the first floor. Mara and Marco could not have been better hosts and getting to meet Joseph and his wife Tania from Viena, and property manager Julia made it even more special. DO NOT skip scheduling dinner when you book the room, as it was the best food we had on our 22-day Italian holiday.

Summary: Worth every dollar in the heart of the most tragically-overlooked part of Italy

Positive: Location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness and breakfast all superb

Negative: Only slight negative for us was the extremely limited availability ( no availability at all on the Friday night) and choice re the evening meal, which meant that we had to drive back into Brisighella for our evening meal. We had been hoping to relax at the hotel and be able to have a glass of wine in the evening with dinner, which obviously the driver was unable to do, having to drive back from Brisighella. Not a major issue, but something to be aware of as we did not know this prior to our arrival

Positive: Beautiful grounds and property, stunning bedroom makes for a regal feel. Great sized pool to relax by lots of wine to choose from. Great food and service. Great communication by host. The local village of Brisighella is very close and I was lucky enough to attend their local once yearly wine fete.

Positive: Staying at Villa Liverzano was just incredibly good. The location is simply beautiful, owners are super kind and attentive. They really managed to combine modern accommodation with the feeling of staying in an old italian villa. Definitely opt-in for the dinner, which cannot be missed!

Negative: There's only one thing we remember and that's that there was no bin in the room, only one in the bathroom - but honestly, there's just nothing to complain about!

Summary: Almost too good to share!
