Negative: No iron and no supplies of cleaning products at all. Requested both to no avail, communication was not great. Very difficult to get transport and super expensive.

Positive: This is a nice apartment in a good location with great views over the lake. We chose to stay in this area for a nearby wedding, but it was easy to drive into Como. The apartment was about the right size for our party of 5 adults/2 toddlers and was equipped with everything we needed. The agents were very responsive to any requests.

Negative: There was nowhere to put rubbish, other than to ask the agents to collect it! We also had to ask for a microwave (listed as an amenity) and a second set of keys. There wouldn't be enough seating/dining space for a party of 8. Parking could be quite tricky.

Positive: The 4 bedroomed Apartment in the Villa was clean and tidy with modern facilities. It is centrally located on the Lakeside in Carate Urio which gives great views of Lake Como. We liked the Pool and the Terrace.

Negative: The Property would benefit greatly from Air Conditioning, although cooling fans were supplied. It was very hot during our stay. It may also be a good idea to supply more keys as there was only 1 set for a Party of 6.

Summary: A lovely stay in a delightful Villa on the shores of Lake Como.
