Positive: The location. Only 30 minutes from Seville centre and 20 minutes to the airport. The property is in a quiet gated community not overlooked and surrounded by olive trees

Negative: The property needs a little upgrading especially the pool where a lot of tiles are missing. The kitchen could do with a few more utensils just to make life a little easier. Other than that no complaints.

Summary: With a little more attention to details, this villa can change from a nice villa to a great villa

Positive: Villa Laforge is a spacious, modern villa in a secure development about 6km from the small town of Carmona. The facilities are first class and modern and the pool large. The air conditioning, which is vital in an Andalucian summer, is excellent. I would thoroughly recommend it for a family or small group. You will need a car as there are no amenities within walking distance.

Negative: The only downside was that the electricity supply was randomly intermittent, and tripped out, sometimes when the load was high but at other times for no apparent reason. On no fewer than eleven occasions, including in the small hours of the night, we had to go out through the main gate to the junction box in the road to press the reset button. Not a problem but irritating.

Summary: A very enjoyable week in a nice area.
