Negative: The room had no air conditioning and a blast of heat came towards me as I entered from the cool corridor. There was no air conditioning in the room and while the owner tried to remedy this by adding a fan/cooler this really was not enough. Opening the windows was not an option either because a) the opening system only allowed them to be opened a couple of centimeters and b) noise from the nearby main road/motorway. So unfortunately the main service for any hotel/B&B (i.e. provding a good night's rest) was not supplied. Additional small negative detail; I had informed the host that the email id on which I had done the booking was temporarily not working and had supplied an alternative for the arrival instructions to be sent to, but information was sent to the non-working email anyway so upon arrival I had to start texting & calling the owner (who is not located on-site).

Positive: The very nicely furnished room and bathroom were extremely fresh and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Smooth handling of the bathroom equipment and windows. The communication with the host was very smooth and easy. We very much appreciated the option to access the common and well-equipped kitchen, for ex. with the possibility to make tea and coffee. The location close to the tram (and therefore City center and ferries), nice ICA supermarket, and in a nice neighborhood is great. Our second stay (this time in winter) was as nice as the first one (in late summer) and we noticed the kitchen was even better equipped.

Negative: Because of the proximity to a highway, one can hear the car noise from the room going to this direction, when opening the windows.

Summary: Perfectly smooth stay at a very nice place!

Negative: The breakfast consisted of a sandwich (bread on the stale side), yoghurt with muesli (no seal, labels and no expiry date on yoghurt), and a small bottle of apple juice. While this would have been OK for 1 day, having it over and over again was very disappointing. I would rather have paid slightly less for the room with no breakfast than having paid for something I could have just bought from the nearby supermarket, which sells fresh bakery products.
