Positive: We had a great time at Villa KRONI. The location is great, with beautiful mountain views. It was a 30 min easy walk to the city centre of Theth. The owners were very friendly and helpful, they even helped us with our car’s flat tire. The room was clean and cosy. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend.

Positive: I like the charm of the place that has just 2 rooms for rent. The hosts, Martin and his mother, were kind and efficient. Their English is very basic but Google Translate helped with that. They made sure I was well fed before I ventured forth in the mornings. Food was good, healthy and local. My room had everything I needed and was clean and very modern. Bathroom top notch. It is a nice balance between charming, homey and having modern touches with the really nice bathroom. While it does not have any type of kitchen, I did not need one with their careful attention. I would certainly stay there again.

Negative: The location was perfect for me but what are your expectations? It is a 40 minute walk from the downtown/bus station area (8 minutes by car). I wanted that lodging away from the busier part of Theth. It was well situated to do the Theth-Valbona trek as well as 4 bunkers in the area that I couldn't resist. Hikes were everywhere out of this place. Now, none of the roads in the area are paved. So there is a dusty, rough gravel road to the place. While exactly what I wanted, you should decide.

Positive: Everything! Don’t let the location put you off. It’s a 25 min walk away from town. You’re surrounding by the beautiful mountains. The host is incredible! The lovely lady prepared us one of the best meals we had, a hearty meal. We highly recommend having dinner at the guesthouse. The breakfast was really lovely too. Huge portions for dinner and breakfast. The room are fantastic! Everything looks new. If you’re not staying here you’re missing out!

Positive: The view was stunning, the room was good and the hosts are wonderful. They do home cooked meals and really look after you.

Negative: My only criticism was that the bathroom smelt like wee, but to be fair most bathrooms along slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro, have this problem. So i believe more of a waste management issue then a household one.
