Positive: Beautiful apartment with two large bedrooms, spacious kitchen and a huge terrace. Private pool is also lovely. The apartment is very clean and in perfect condition, whereas it is fully equipped with everything you may need (kitchen, bathroom, everything you may think of). It is situated in a quiet residential area of the island, which we appreciated for relaxation and quiet nights (and days). It is not far from flic-en-flac beach and we found the location comfortable for day trips to the north, south and east of the island to explore beautiful beaches and the inland. We had read that the hosts are nice and available for everything you may need, but Janysha and Vishant literally exceeded all expectations. We are really happy to have met them, and they made our stay better, as we felt we could rely on them for any possible issue We highly recommend it!

Positive: Villa Kiarra is a fully contained self catering holiday home located upstairs above the Host's home. The villa was private , clean , modern & comfortable ( exactly like the photos) and is situated in the local Mauritian village of Albion. This is not a tourist hot spot and we particularly enjoyed the local village atmosphere. Our Hosts Janysha , Vishant & 4 year old Kiarra , were friendly without being intrusive and made us feel completely at home. During our stay Janysha invited us to join her family for a delicious home cooked Mauritian meal - thank you Janysha ;-) You will need a car to get around (local Albion beach 5 minutes, Albion Mall Dodo supermarket 10 minutes) and of course the essential travel guide - Google Maps.

Summary: It was a delight to stay with this Mauritian family in their clean & comfortable upstairs Villa.

Positive: Hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, they even brought us gateaux piments for breakfast and gave me a lift to work throughout our stay. They were also very responsive whenever we had any slight issues, would highly recommend!

Negative: The water pressure could be better, but we did report this midway through our stay and they did improve it. Otherwise, no other issues.

Summary: Great value apartment, with ample space and wonderful hosts.

Positive: Apartment very well appointed, clean, spacious and every convenience. A lovely swimming pool. We were there over cyclone restrictions and our hosts were incredible. Albion is a peaceful destination compared to some of the more touristy parts. However, has easy access to to surrounding areas and we did some enjoyable walks.

Negative: Nothing.. If we hadn’t already booked elsewhere we would have stayed longer.

Positive: The place was extremely clean, beautiful, calm and the location was just perfect. The hosts (Janysha and Vishant) were incredible. They gave us recommendations for places such as restaurants, malls, supermarkets etc. We also had the opportunity to have a great dinner with the hosts and the cultural exchange was beyond any words! When we left, they also gave us some goodbye gifts ! The pool was amazing and the view from the top was out of this world (check it during sunset). Please don’t think twice if you plan to stay at Villa Kiara.
