Positive: We chose this villa due to its location away from the main tourist areas. The villa is located high on one of the mountain sides with amazing views over the valley. The villa was quiet and tranquil, exactly what we were looking for. You will need a car to sight see, however the villa is equipped with everything you need if you just wish to stay and relax. The villa host was extremely helpful in recommending places to eat and even left us fresh fruit and vegetables for our stay. The villa is split on levels and offers lots of options to relax, swim and sun bath. Terraces were amazing, and perfect for eating breakfast on while overlooking the valley

Positive: I will start with the tricky things, just to get them out of the way: if you have problems navigating steps, unfortunately this place is not for you. It is on a hill and everything is on separate levels with steps to navigate in-between. If you are alright with steps, then don't hesitate, just book it. You won't regret it. Let me tell you about the views: they are endless. You can see all the valley with olive and vines plantations, dotted villages, down to Heraklion, the sea and the island of Dia as well as the mountains to the East. No picture I could've taken would have done it justice. Then the villa itself. It is close enough to Kato Asites where you'll find everything you need (food, shops, coffee shops), but separated enough to have complete privacy. You are surrounded by nature and it was wonderful for us to just be there and watch the birds, the insects, the plants doing their thing whilst we were recharging our batteries. The house has everything you need for comfortable living and a well equipped kitchen. It's clean and it's well organised. On another level there is a bbq area. It has everything it needs. Another level down an infinity pool where you can just sit and enjoy the views whilst cooling in the water. There is also a seating area there and sun loungers. Another level down and there's an area you can use for a picnic, another level down a nice area for a coffee. It has an abundance of places to sit and enjoy the marvellous views. Now, the owner, Stelios, he is always a phone call/text away for any questions, for anything you need. He does not intrude and comes to clean/check the pool every few days, but never without arranging with you in advance. He is very welcoming, generous and on hand to help with anything, but always mindful of your privacy. A wonderful host. We felt welcomed, we felt safe, it was a wonderful place to be in and we are looking forward to going back there soon.

Positive: 3000 level of privacy. Absolutely amazing villa for the price. I enjoyed every minute of my vacation there. I recomend it for everyone. By the way - it’s a sea view villa. You can see the sea and Dia island in a distant view.

Positive: We loved the location in the mountains and the view. Fantastic runs/ walks out of the door. A great village with fantastic restaurant. A beautiful monastery next door and within east reach of some incredible parts of Crete.

Positive: The outside area including the pool was excellent with amazing views, friendly host who was attentive to our needs and welcomed us on our stay.

Negative: The main shower could have had more water pressure but given how remote the villa was this was expected so not a big issue.

Positive: I just back home from this great place ! me and my boyfriend spent there 11 days, and honestly it was one of our best vacation. The house is placed in the small, nice village , on the top of the hill. You don't have any neighbour around , so the amount of privacy you can get is just beyond. Perfect for couples who wants to feel free around the pool. And yes, the pool, it is just great. It is big, deep enough , water is nice and clean and the best thing about is the view - just to falling in love with. You get to see mouintens and the see all together . The house is lovely too. You will find there everything you need either you like to cook on your vacation or prefer going out to eat ( if so there is great taverna just 5 min walking from the house ). The owner of the place is a really great guy, very helpful, kind. He welcome us with the big plate of local fruits. Than the other day when I ask him he brought our some local veggie . And one day his mum made for us traditional greek pasticcio which was very tasty . In the village you can find a few coffee bars, local shops ( in the shops you will be able to buy some local wine and raki only for 3 euro for 1l !!!! deal of the year!). But just keep it on your mind, you will need a car . Place is about 30 km from Heraklion airport and 150 from Chania . Road are awesome with beautiful views but remember your are driving in the mountain .
