Positive: Wonderful family stay at Villa Kalina – highly recommended! We stayed at Villa Kalina for three nights in week 42 of 2025, and what a lovely experience it was! We had booked easily via Booking.com, and although it took us a little while to find the location with our rental car, once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious villa, fully equipped with everything a family could need. We were warmly welcomed and given a tour by the owner, Mr. Slavco, who made us feel right at home. The villa turned out to be a perfect base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Each morning we enjoyed the breathtaking view over Lake Ohrid — truly a sight to remember! For a delicious breakfast, brunch, or dinner, you can simply visit the restaurant next door — super convenient! On our second-to-last evening, we were surprised by three bags of freshly prepared food, including a whole roasted chicken, kindly brought by our host. It was absolutely delicious — thank you so much, Mr. Slavco! We, along with our three children (aged 2, 6, and 10), had a wonderful time and would love to return if we visit North Macedonia again in the future. Thank you very much, Villa Kalina! Positive: Everything was great! The location, the view, the facilities just wonderful. The house is very comfortable and the garden is very equipped if you are coming with kids. The hosts are great, they made sure every little detail is taken care for. We would definitely come back

Positive: The view out onto the lake was incredible. The use of the, fairly, private beach was also a real treat.

Negative: Communication regarding payment for our stay. It would have been much easier for us to pay in euros on arrival having withdrawn in the UK, but we weren’t aware that this was an option.

Positive: Villa Kalina is a picturesque Villa built facing lake Ohrid. The view is fantastic and the Villa is more than 150m2 with two balconies and 2 patios. It has all the facilities needed including a dispenser with mineral water. This is a unique finding. Highly recommended for families. It is 15 minutes driving from Odrid, 7 minutes from the Bay of Bones and 30 minutes from the monastery of St Naum. Thank you Slavco for everything.
