Positive: Sophie was a very hospitable host. She made us very welcome and helped us with recommendations and restaurant bookings. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The house and rooms are beautiful. Breakfasts were wonderful, with scrambled eggs from Sophie's hens, and home made cakes. We were able to do a lovely cycle ride from Villa Henri to St Quentin and back, with most of the route along canal-side paths rather than roads.

Negative: Everything was wonderful. Guests just need to be aware that, unless they like kebabs, they will need to drive somewhere for dinner. St Quentin has a good selection of places to eat and is 25 minutes drive, but there are a few places closer.

Positive: I spent three nights at Villa Henri with my boyfriend, my cat and my dog. We stayed in the apartment, not in one of the rooms, and we had a great time. The apartment is very cozy and equipped with everything you need (even salt, oil etc in case you want to cook). It overlooks a garden where you can chill or have your meals (the breakfast is very filling!). The owner, Sophie, is such a lovely person. She gave us tips on where to eat or take a stroll and easily accommodate my dietary restrictions, even if I gave her little notice. Her dog, Jackpot, is the cutest and very friendly. We would have loved to stay longer!
