Positive: The villa is spacious and clean. The onsen bath is a lovely way to end a day of hiking and the amenities provided are a nice touch. The Japanese breakfast was excellent too!
Negative: Would have been convenient to be able to have dinner at the ryokan restaurant but this wasn’t possible at the time

Positive: It was a mini spa vacation in this villa! Free beverages and free use of spa oils and such. The thermal bath was amazing!
Negative: It was kinda cold but it didn’t bother me much. You’ll have to walk for approximately 20 min from the ferry, and with a big bag and lots of people it’s a bit away.

Positive: The rooms are very comfortable with nice amenities. The open air private bath. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, well worth the additional fee (¥6600+¥2200) in my opinion.
Negative: It's a bit far from the beach and the view is not the best (mostly trees).
Summary: Very nice guesthouse, maybe not the best value for a solo traveler
