Positive: Wow! this place has excellent parking. It is a huge mansion in gorgeous grounds. The rooms are awesome and huge. The concierge was extremely friendly and helpful. She will organise a taxi for 25 euros each way to take you to the old part of Siracusa (Ortygia) and the taxi will collect you from the statue of Archimedes at a later time to return you to Villa Giulia. The swimming pool is excellent.
Negative: Nothing.

Positive: This place far exceeded our expectations. It was fantastic. Secure free parking. A huge room. A comfortable bed. Coffee and tea facilities in our room. Robes and slippers. The place has two pools - one indoor where there's a sauna and a steam room as well. The outside pool was being renovated and should be refilled soon. It was extremely good value too. We were given a voucher to take to a nearby place to get breakfast.
Negative: Nothing
Summary: Far exceeded expectations
