Positive: Really beautiful place, we absolutely enjoyed our one week stay there!! Perfect location (close to beaches, mountains, waterfall, pretty cities like Pietrasanta and Lucca), very spacious and super clean (bigger and nicer than in the photos! :-) ), so well equipped and terraces all around the house incl. rooftop terrace. Massimo is a very friendly and helpful host, but at the same time respects the guests privacy. The water fountain nearby for drinking water was also great! And the ice cream place within walking distance!! Grazie Massimo, we will come back for sure!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Villa Giada. Everything exceeded expectations and the villa is beautiful. There are lots of lovely shady places to sit outside, either in the garden or on the terrace with the banana plants. The roof terrace is fabulous with a wonderful view of the mountains and across to the sea. The swimming pool was much needed in the heat. We felt totally at home there and wished we had stayed longer than 6 nights. The owner is such a kind person, suggesting good places to visit and recommending the best places to shop or eat. He was keen for us to get the best from the location. My daughter needed to go to the doctors when we we there and he came with us - navigating the Italian clinic system and helping us get seen by a doctor. He stayed the whole time and then even took us to the chemist afterwards for the prescription. There's loads to do in the area: free beach hidden among all the beach clubs, hikes in the Apuan Alps, lovely ancient villages, swimming in mountain pools, incredible scenery. I would return to Villa Giada in a heartbeat.

Summary: A perfect stay in a lovely villa with one of the kindest hosts I have ever met.

Positive: We loved absolutely everything, it is an amazing place and a real pleasure to have stayed there. All the rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and have their unique style. And what a beautiful garden! The water source down the road was one of the highlights, the cafe round the corner was fantastic, we went there for breakfast every day. The communication with the hosts was immaculate, such kind and welcoming people who know the meaning of the word hospitality. Cannot thank you enough and hope to stay with you again in the future!
