Positive: Villa Ernest is perfect. The location, the property, the garden and the hosts are all incredible and we feel so lucky that Carmen and Francis allowed us to stay. We couldn’t have picked a nicer place to stay in Ypres.

Positive: The property was modern and clean throughout. Great facilities and en-suite for each bedroom. Location was amazing , right next to the central square , with secure parking. The garden was lovely, secluded and so peaceful, only the bells of the museum breaking the silence, in a good way . Lovely story to the history of the building and its original owner Ernest.

Positive: It was beyond our expectations. Clean, modern, location exceptional. Own room and ensuite for 3 couples. Hosts were amazing and helpful. Beautiful warm and welcoming home. Just perfect.

Positive: The villa was amazing in so many ways, it was very clean and spacious with a great outdoor space even a bbq with coals supplied, above all its central location was fantastic. We had to pinch ourselves on our return from a day out to prove this was real. Great hosts with loads of local knowledge. We will be back.

Positive: Lovely property with secure parking and 3 nice bedrooms/bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for us to relax when eating in. We’d love to stay here again when we visit. The owners are lovely people and were always quick to reply to any questions we had. Great location to explore the area and walk to dinner.
