Positive: The grounds of the house were perfect, so much space and different areas to spend time. The pool was fabulous, table-tennis table and large lawn with basketball hoop were all great (and well used by us!). The outdoor kitchen with bbq, gas rings (perfect for paella) and outdoor grill was brilliant… no need to cook indoors. Inside the house was beautifully clean, bedrooms had good sized beds and 3 bathrooms, all with showers. The little dogs and the horse on the property were an added bonus.

Negative: The inside of the house was a little dark but we really didn’t spend much time in there as the outdoors areas were so fab.

Positive: We stayed at Villa Elizabeth as two families- 4 adults and 4 children. Everything about the villa is perfect. It has everything you need you just need to bring yourself and your clothes. We booked the villa based on the outdoor space and the photos do not do it justice. The villa is settled amongst mountains (the property is close to the main motorway however there is little noise) and the back or the property looks out on to a beautiful landscape. The pool, outdoor kitchen and gardens are exceptional. There are also fruit trees (the best fig tree I've ever seen!) and a huge green space for children to play. We also loved the two dogs that reside at the property- though the owners will take them if you aren't keen. It's a piece of rural paradise. I'd highly recommend it if you are looking for a tranquil getaway that's close enough to Granada and mountain villages like Lanjaron but is in a relatively secluded spot (we ate in Durcal, a small village 10 minutes drive away) The owners were lovely too and were easily contactable via phone if we needed them
