Positive: Andrea and her sister were fantastic hosts during our stay at Villa Duje. As well as all the necessities, they provided a very generous welcome pack with delicious cheese, meat, wine and biscuits. They also gave us recommendations for places to eat and activities in the area. The villa is finished to an exceptionally high standard inside and out, is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The pool is a great size and the outdoor area is well equipped with loungers, comfortable seating, BBQ and a fabulous view. There is a kitchen and bathroom off the pool area which was so convenient during the day. Our kids also loved the pool table, darts board and gym equipment in the games room. The villa is very private and in quite a remote area, yet it is only a 40 minute drive from all the amenities of Split. The village of Trilj, with good supermarkets and restaurants, is just a few minutes drive from the villa. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone visiting the area.

Positive: The most beautiful villa and exceptional hosts. This property is the definition of perfection. We had an excellent week in Villa Duje and did not want to leave. The property has everything you could possibly need and more to enjoy your stay and the hosts are so friendly. The location is remote, however, just off the quiet main roads so you are never too far from a village or town. We found the location perfect for exploring Croatia and you get a real feel for the Croatian lifestyle not being in the overcrowded tourist hot spots. Andrea was so helpful sending us links to help us plan our week and her Dad was always on hand to help, even bringing us some fresh figs and wine from his vineyard on our last day at the villa. We really can't speak highly enough of this villa and it's hosts, anybody who stays here is lucky to experience it. Thank you Andrea, we are a very happy family after our stay.

Positive: Very clean & comfortable. Good facilities, large pool and the pool table were a big hit with the kids. Host is fantastic! Nothing was a problem for her. Provided local products when we arrived and a fabulous desert the day before we left. Great advice when we had a medical issue.

Negative: A bit more remote than we expected.

Positive: Andrea communicated well throughout the booking process and helped with any queries we had on the area and was always on hand throughout our stay. The villa has the most beautiful views and is so well equipped and extremely clean with everything you would need. We ate in a couple of good restaurants in Trilj - just a couple of minutes drive from the villa. There was lots to do in the area with Split being only a 30 minutes drive (absolutely loved the 3 Islands speedboat trip there), canoeing in the Cetina River near Omis, and visiting local fortresses. Positive: Fabulous villa in a beautiful location. Andrea was a fantastic host and every part of the villa was so clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed including fresh fruit and veg from the garden. Perfect - highly recommend. Car required to visit local towns and attractions. Recommend visiting Fortress of Klis and Omis.
