Positive: Lovely, cosy 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom flat in a house with lovely grounds. The flat is very spacious and is really well provided with quality kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery, and there are a lot of thoughtful details around (e.g toiletries, two good hairdryers, etc). There are two large TVs with streaming services and the wifi works, although it is a bit slow (not uncommon in Croatia from our experience so far). Bathrooms are great, and the bath jacuzzi a nice treat after a long day travelling and walking. The garden is beautiful and has a lovely play area for volleyball and badminton (and three lovely duck chicks!). There are lots of restaurants in the area and fun things to do besides the famous Plitvice lakes- the swimming river beach at Sluj is great. We only stayed two nights in the property but wished we could have stayed longer! The host was lovely and attentive, we had a great time. Thank you so much!

Negative: Laundry room wasn’t available as they had house keepers using it entire time we stayed.

From the moment we arrived, Marija welcomed us with such warmth and generosity that we immediately felt at home. She is truly a kind-hearted and thoughtful host, always making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. Her hospitality was simply outstanding. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well-equipped. Every detail has been carefully thought through—from the fully stocked kitchen to the little touches like extra towels, coffee, spices, and even board games. It really felt like everything we could possibly need was already there, and more. We especially enjoyed the outdoor barbecue area, which was perfect for relaxing evenings with family and friends. The washing machine and dryer made life easy during our stay, and even the dartboard added a fun twist to our time at the villa—we spent many cheerful evenings competing and laughing together. The house is ideal for families or groups, with plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a peaceful atmosphere. The surrounding area is quiet and scenic, which made our stay all the more relaxing. Marija went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and her kind spirit truly made this trip special. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories. The host was absolutely exceptional — so kind, attentive, and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The property itself is stunning. The rooms weren’t just clean — they were beautifully decorated and thoughtfully arranged, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. We had more than everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, which was fully stocked with coffee, tea, juice, chocolates, and all the essentials for cooking and snacking. It felt like home, but better! The amenities were top-notch. There were plenty of fresh towels, high-quality toiletries, and even a jacuzzi, which was such a nice touch after a day of exploring. The outdoor grill area was also a highlight, and the host kindly offered to help us set it up. Positive: It had everything we could think to want or need, everything was at a super high standard, it made me want to cook more just so I can use everything provided... Super nice host, very responsive, everything was convenient and all the little details thought of, great double hot tub. Possibly the best apartment I have stayed at.

Negative: Nothing is walking distance, but everything you need is a very short drive away. No elevator but that was known in advance and common for Croatia.

Summary: Amazing apartment, highly recommended!
