Positive: A house in a fantastic location on a hill with a beautiful view of the sea and the town of Hora Sfakion. The view upon waking up in the morning was amazing.

Negative: The house and pool were spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. Thank you very much for the welcome gifts and the excellent wine and cheese. The hosts always made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you very much.

Positive: Lefteris, the host was super friendly and helpful. He made us feel welcome immediately. He was happy to help with questions through WhatsApp. He told us everything we needed to know and lots more besides about the Villa and the surrounding location. The Villa is beautiful: the location is fabulous. Waking up with a near panoramic view of the Aegean, Gavdos and Sfakai is an unforgettable experience: the bedroom windows make it feel like there is nothing between you and the sea. The terrance and pool offer a stylish and uber relaxing place to spend your days in the sun. You can also watch the sunset whilst lounging or eating supper. Little touches like the bathroom window providing a view of the mountains and gorge. You can shower and feel at one with the landscape. The biggest compliment I can pay this place is that we booked again for next year during our stay. WE have never done this for a Villa before in any country. Ευχαριστώ παρά πολύ Λεφτερι!

Negative: Nothing to criticise. I've scratched my head. But I cannot think of a single thing that I would change in this idyllic place.

Positive: The entire process of taking over the accommodation/house and returning it went extremely smoothly and was very communicative thanks to the owner/agent. The explanations and instructions were also very good. The owner speaks English very well.

Negative: Nothing really. Except for a few minor details in the house that were missing, but the owner asked about them when we returned the keys and said he would try to fix them (towel hook in the downstairs bathroom, skirting board in the kitchen).

Positive: Our host was exceptionally kind, communicative, and knowledgeable—making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The villa’s location is fantastic, with plenty to see and explore nearby, and the view was truly mesmerizing. One of our favorite parts was relaxing by the pool, especially during sunset—it was absolutely magical.

Negative: While our overall stay was lovely, there were a couple of small things that could be improved. We noticed some hair in the pool area and bathroom upon arrival, which could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, as someone who takes contrast showers, I was hoping for hotter water, but it was more on the warm side.

Summary: It was great experience and we would come again and recommend our friends!

Positive: Simply amazing newly built villa at the top of the village. Beautiful views, splendid pool area, cloud like bed and solitude. If you want to be in the Sfakia region, couldn’t be any better. Thanks so much to Lefteris for all of his recommendations and for being such an amazing host. Can’t wait to return again someday!!!

Positive: An absolute gem of a place, the most amazing 7 days. The house is stunning in every way possible, décor, location, view, isolation. Everything you could possible need. The view from the bedroom, the patio, the pool, just stunning. Lefteris was fantastic from start to finish. We stayed for 6 nights, but could have stayed for 6 more. Lovely town with many Tavernas. We loved the seafood at Ombrosgial. You must go to the local Mesohori Taverna, good old style Greek hospitality. Forget menus, order after checking out the food in the kitchen. Such great food and great value. We ate at a great restaurant “Koutelo by the sea” as recommended by Lefteris. A 20 minute drive. Things to do: (1) Rent a boat for a day and motor up the coast to Sweetwater, Marmara, Domata beach, Agia Roumeli. Lefteris will sort that out for you (Around 180 Euros for 10 hours of amazing fun) (2) Hike down or up or both Imbros Gorge. Stunning scenery and not too difficult. (3) Drive to Kourtaliotiko gorge and hike down to the hidden pools and waterfall, where you can swim. Well worth the effort. (4) Hike to Sweetwater was quite tough, but worth it. Got the ferry back. You can get the ferry both ways. (5) Fragkokastello is lovely and has a great old Venetian castle To sum up all we can say is "Thank you Lefteris for letting us share your amazing house". We will be back.
