Positive: Nestled in a secluded area of the coast, this place is tranquil. The guest house's caretakers are very friendly, attentive and give honour to the Filipinos' renowned hospitality. The place has a private path down to a secluded beach, connected to the larger Santiago white beach --one can just literally wade in the ankle to calf-deep waters from one beach to the other, during low tide. Our family had a wonderful time in Camotes and this place made the stay all the more appealing. Daghang salamat.

Negative: The "habagat" (southwest monsoon) season brings loads of trash from the ocean to the coast. Trash on the coast isn't the guest house's problem to solve, (the island people try to clean as much as they can) but rather a nationwide issue. People really do need to do away with one-time use wrappers, containers and plastics.

Positive: Exceptionally peaceful and quiet yet close to Santiago bay with a nice selection of restaurants. Oppa and Mercy are very efficient, intuitive and cheerful. Even the dogs made us feel at home..

Negative: Being big eaters we would have enjoyed a larger refrigerator but that's about it.

Positive: It was an amazing place! The host Mercy and Oppa were great. Beautiful views, very nice swimming pool and a great garden. We will come back.

Negative: When we booked it stated it was a 2 bedroom appartement. But 1 bedroom was locked. It's not a big problem because it was spacious enough. But it should be mention while booking.

Positive: Location was perfect, Apartment was overlooking the ocean and the beautifully maintained garden. Hosts were very attentive and helpful. Easy to get to the main beach and a few good restaurants. So many wonderful things

Negative: The only bummer was the beach was the victim of a current that was leaving lots of garbage during our stay. So we were unable to enjoy the beach. No reflection on the property since the garbage was coming from elsewhere.

Summary: Great location, amazing property and wonderful hosts. We will return!

Positive: The Breakfast was amazing 🤩. Bacon eggs hash browns and toast. Authentic 🥓 bacon and lots of it. Mercy and her husband were so kind and smiley 😊 people so Sweet. Mercy personally delivered at your requested time. We ate on the balcony overlooking the ocean and gorgeous landscaping. What a treat! If we head back to Camotes we will absolutely stay there!!

Negative: Not so much what we didn't like but it was a little bit hard to find. It has different ways the names are listed but all good 👍 we found it.
