Positive: No breakfast at all. It was close to where we wanted to be.

Negative: The bungalow was so full of items that it was impossible to live there. The walls are all covered with paintings, shells and lots of stuff to knock down. The place is so full of totem poles and stuff piled on the kitchen table and kitchen bar it was impossible to move around or use for fear of breaking something either on the tables, walls or floor. Major shell items on the floor of the bedroom making it hard to get up in the dark without breaking something. This is no place for young kids to be at! The house needs to be cleared out and converted from a museum to a rental.

Summary: At $600.00 a night it was a considerable disappointment in many ways.

Positive: The location was a 2 minute walk to the beautiful Matira beach. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and massive amounts of authenticate decor. Beds we’re comfortable and AC in the bedrooms worked great.

Negative: The house was not fully air conditioned, as advertised. Having pictures of the beach & describing it as beachfront in the ad was misleading, you can not see the water from any area of the house. The ad mentioned a spa in front of the spa and in 4 days we never saw it. The beds had a fitted sheet and a comforter, no top sheet. When I requested the top sheet; the manager brought one the next afternoon; so only couple got a sheet. The washing machine did not work but it looks like that amenity was removed from the ad. The oven required matches to light the stove. The manager said she would bring us some later that day. I asked if she could pick up a bag of ice on that trip if it wasn’t too inconvenient; she said she didn’t deliver. All is all; we had a wonderful time but at over $500 per night I expected a little more hospitality. It is close to a beautiful beach and walkable to restaurants and a market.
