Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Badi! It is a beautiful family run hotel in the quiet village of Lovrecica (San Lorenzo), about 5 km from the big city of Umag. The owner and the staff are very friendly and speak very well English. It is well situated to do excursions during the day (Umag, Porec, Pula, Motovun, ...) and dive in the hotel's swimming pool when returning in the (late) afternoon. Very nice new room with balcony with sea view. Safe, TV and coffee facilities are available in the room. Nice breakfast buffet; there are some breakfast tables with a nice view on the pool. The village of Lovrecica is very small and quiet. You really need a car to go somewhere. Nevertheless, there are a few restaurants and strand bars within walking distance from the hotel. If you want to go into the sea, it is best to wear water shoes because there are rocks everywhere in the sea.
