Positive: For a group of 3, we had loads of space the host was very nice and informative, the garden was our favourite place especially the BBQ Zone. The views from the garden were breathtaking, we found ourselves spending a lot of time at the villa.

Negative: The property is listed as Villa Aurora with Heated Pool, but the pool heating is only available if you pay an additional €20 per night. We were only informed about this after booking and payment, and the host requested the payment in cash, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the listing. We felt a bit blindsided by this, as we assumed the pool would already be heated. We decided not to pay for the heating since we thought the warm weather would be enough, but the villa is located up in the mountains where it’s much windier, so the pool water was quite cold and not really usable. Also, the host requires that you pay for pool heating for the entire duration of your stay, not just for a few days. Other than that, the villa itself was amazing. It was spacious, comfortable, and fully catered to our needs.

Summary: Make sure to rent a car when staying here. And make sure to note that this villa is situated 30 mins from Los Christiano

Positive: This Villa is amazing! We loved our stay. The garden is huge, and the pool is the perfect size for us, a family of four. There is a grocery shop very close by, and a few restaurants that offer lovey food. The hosts are so helpful and very lovely. The villa itself is so clean, and has everything you need! It’s very spacious and decorated beautifully. A true hidden gem.

Negative: Loved everything. Only thing that could be an issue is poor WiFi, but to be honest it wasn’t that big a deal for us!

Summary: Perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

Negative: Not keen on the garden aviary - we don't like caged birds.

Positive: This is a (hidden) gem. Away from ugly mass tourism places without a soul, but in the vicinity of everything. Probably one of the best places to be if you want to stay on the south side of the island and appreciate authenticity over fakeness. The garden of the villa is well thought through. Every corner and every area makes so much sense. The photos don’t do justice to the place. Personally I was a bit put off by the instagram-pink-inflatable-flamingo and the fake grass in one of the photos, but reality is fortunately so amazing! The perfect place to spend quality time with your family. More than enough free and easy parking spots in the front. Very accommodating and fast responding hosts. Large enough to take some private time away from family if needed (We never felt that we were too cramped. There is a lot of space). Nice pool house with its own little kitchen and barbecue. We had breakfast at the pool house with the sun rise and dinner inside in the villa (or at a Tasca, 25 min drive on a beautiful mountain road to village Granadilla de Abona). We explored the entire island and it was always a joy to get back to the place. We spent Christmas here and the host had decorated the places in Christmas atmosphere which was much appreciated.

Negative: There is no dishwasher. This is the only to be aware off. Although doing the dishes together can also be a nice thing.
