Positive: We had a wonderful stay. The location is a perfect escape from the busy city, peaceful, green, and with a breathtaking view over Naples and the Vesuvius. Waking up to that view felt special every single day. Our host, Gavino, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt genuinely welcomed. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. Our children (13, 15 and 17) also enjoyed themselves very much. From the house we made several daytrips, including Vesuvius, the Amalfi coast and Herculaneum, but we were always happy to return to the quiet surroundings of the house. The animals on the grounds added something truly unique. Peacocks, goats, chickens and even a horse. There’s something magical about drinking your morning coffee while looking at the Vesuvius and hearing a peacock in the background — a moment you don’t easily forget. We would happily return.

Positive: Welcoming owner, place was very nice and felt comfortable. Helped whenever we needed and answered all questions we had. Pool was at a good temperature all week round, and was bigger than we expected. Aircons in the rooms worked very quickly.

The place itself is tidy, well-kept, and very comfortable, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The host was fantastic—extremely helpful, friendly, and always quick to respond. Whenever we needed something, it was arranged immediately, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Amenities were great as well: a lovely pool for relaxation, BBQ facilities, and both indoor and outdoor fireplaces that added to the cozy and welcoming feel. The property is also conveniently located—just 30–40 minutes from Naples airport, the city center, and major landmarks (depending on traffic and tolls). Overall, this is a great spot to relax and enjoy, and I highly recommend it.

Negative: Not a complaint, just advice: the place would benefit from a microwave and a few more kitchen items. The only real issue was with key collection — arriving late, there was a misunderstanding with the host, and we couldn’t get in, so we had to book a B&B for the first night, £110, We asked for a one-night refund but were refused. A lockbox for the key would solve this. On the positive side, the host did offer alternatives like free garden vegetables and a horse ride.

Gavino, our exceptional host, went above and beyond—he even prepared two cribs for our baby twins before our arrival, a truly kind gesture. Each morning, we had breakfast on the terrace with panoramic views stretching toward Mount Vesuvius. Evenings were made for sunset barbecues beneath the olive branches, filled with laughter and golden light.
