In the middle of the pine forest, at the end of the bay of "Amour" you will enjoy a multitude of atmospheres with various rest areas, for lunch in the sun or in the shade of the pines or under a patio that can accommodate more people. Summary: In May 2016, we spent a week at the La Rainette as a large group, 3 couples plus 3 children. What a fantastic stay! Francois and Guillaume, the two owners were welcoming and were available to advise and help with anything including where to go. Francois even helped us arrange to rent a boat at a very good price. The house and grounds were more than big enough for all of us as we all felt like were at ‘home away from home’. We especially enjoyed dining al fresco with a marvelous view of the ocean from the covered outdoor kitchen. In fact, we have every meal there. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the outdoor kitchen and its barbecque made all the difference….. The house is very situated, nestled perflectly overlooking the ocean with any obstruction. The beach is a 50 meter stroll through a tree lined path. Our 8 year old son loved the beach and the water was calm enough that we felt comfortable with his playing in the water with only his teenage cousin being with him. There is a supermarket with fresh fruits and vegetables only a minute away on foot and we enjoyed diining at the local creperie a couple of the evenings. The American sized refrigerator broke down while we were there. But Francois rearranged a replacement delivery the next day and given that the house already had two refrigerators, it was not even noticed. We will be returning to La Rainette!
