Summary: We have had a wonderful time in this house. You have everything you need there. Loads of amazing sunsets. The small beach near the house, a few minutes walk down a private path, is just perfect. The Agios Romanos beach is also very beautiful and just a 15 minutes walk away. Most of the beach Tavernas were already closed but the Akrogiali Taverna near the beach was still opened. We also highly recommend the Restaurant O NTinos in Kardiani a 15 Minutes drive away. Tinos is an amazing island and to stay in that house makes it even more perfect. We definitely would love to come back.

Summary: Amazing location, close to the beach, and easy to reach Chora. Breathtaking sunsets from the terrace. An improvement of cold water and some air conditioning are. necessary.

Summary: We had a great time in Tinos. The house was perfect for three families with kids. We came from California and met with my cousin in Greece. We had three teenagers and they took the bottom floor and loved the privacy. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work. It was getting the signal from the house next door so it was spotty and made it difficult to do some work and planning we needed to do. There is also no air conditioning in the main house. Most days we were there were windy so we were fine, but on the last day it was quite calm and hot. Overall we loved the house and the location and would definitely return. We miss it already! Thank you Tassos.

Summary: This house was very nice as we expected. Perfect for big household and/or if you have adult kids whit you they could have ther own suit downstairs. Peaceful situated 20 min with car from Tinos port. You have supermarkets in Tinos the only place to shop. Tasos took care of us when we came and was theire when wee left very helpful. Nice beaches around and Bianco a small nice one very close.

Summary: We loved the house and the spectacular views it afforded. The house has everything you would want for an extended stay. We especially liked breakfasting on the veranda and waking up to the sound of the sea. The best beach we found was about five minutes away where you can rent chairs if you like. The only drawback is that the house is not close to town and the roads are poor.

Summary: We were fortunate enough to stay at Villa Areti in late September and early October 2017 as two adults and three children, all under 4. We would recommend this rental unit to other families interested in visiting Tinos and staying off the beaten track. The home itself was very spacious with 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the main floor. There is also a complete suite in the basement to accommodate even more people. The kitchen is fairly well stocked. There was a dishwasher (which is cruicial!) and gas stove. The highlight of the house is no doubt the stunning patio encircling the home with outstanding views of the Tinos hillsides, the beautiful Aegean and even to other islands. Syros is particularly beautiful lit up at night across the water. We came to expect nightly sunsets that easily ranked amongst the most colourful and beautiful in the world. Thanks to its location on a small rocky promontory, the home is essentially surrounded by water. There is a small beach easily accessed by walking down a short trail featuring a combination of sand and the most diverse and striking array of smooth rocks imaginable. It makes for fantastic family beachcombing adventures. Nearby, though not right on the property, there is also a fabulous sandy beach with a lovely, authentic taverna. There are two more homes located on the same small promontory, but they do not obstruct the views from Villa Areti at all and it was very quiet throughout our stay. Wifi was quick and reliable. Tasos was very responsive and accommodating. He was able to source a bedrail for our middle daughter to give us piece of mind at night. He also ensured that the fridge was stocked with basic essentials to make our arrival easy. We were met at the ferry dock by Stavros, one of the neighbours, who was most gracious and welcoming. There was a lot to explore on Tinos and all the amenities we needed were close at hand. Tinos town feels authentically Greek rather than touristy. We enjoyed travelling to the small towns in the mountains including especially Pyrgos (and its Museum of Marble Crafts) and Volax. We also explored the restaurant scene and would recommend both O Ntinos and To Thalassaki. Both are a bit difficult to access via windy roads, but that was part of the adventure! The home is at the end of a fairly long dirt road so a sturdy vehicle is helpful. For the last 5 days of our stay it was extraordinarily windy, which may be a seasonal phenomenon to bear in mind.

Summary: We had a wonderful holiday - the house was very spacious and cool with fly screens throughout and there was more than enough space for 6 adults. The views from the house were spectacular and we enjoyed the terraces and other outside features , such as the barbecue, very much indeed. The property was clean and fully equipped and the owner was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The road to the house is partially dirt track and partially concrete, which is normal for small roads on the island, so a 4 wheel drive car is very helpful. There is a small quiet cove immediately below the house which is great for swimming and 10 minutes walk away is the lovely Agios Romanos beach which was never crowded when we visited (September) and had a good friendly taverna with tasty food . TInos town is only a short drive away and has a big choice of restaurants and a small market. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting a quiet getaway in a stunningly beautiful location. There is lots to do on Tinos, apart from swimming we enjoyed visiting the villages, walking the footpaths and eating the delicious fresh food. We would also recommend the Marble Museum and the Tinos town Archeological Museum -both are well worth a visit. Most of all we enjoyed watching the sea from the terrace and basking in a magnificent sunset every night and then, later on, stargazing at the vast sky above us.
